I am so pleased to have worked with College Planning Partnerships! Their experience, clarity, and…read moreexcellent tutors really made the difference for me and helped me achieve my desired score. Before, I struggled with pacing and understanding what the test was really looking for. However, the sessions I took helped create a step-by-step plan that I would follow for each section. The help I received was specific to my needs and weaknesses on the test. They did not teach the test as if there was a set formula to doing well. My tutors were very encouraging and motivating. Also, after each session, my tutors provided extensive feedback to myself and my parents on my performance during the session. This was invaluable information. They had more faith in my abilities than I did! I would highly recommend College Planning Partnerships to anyone in need of SAT or ACT prep.

Sam and Zac were incredibly helpful in preparing me for the SAT and I went into the test more confident than I ever had for standardized tests in the past. Initially I was skeptical about the online tutoring, but I quickly realized that it was an extremely useful tool. With the offices being almost an hour away, the online tutoring was very convenient for my family and me and it allowed for much more flexibility with planning. Even though it was online, I didn't feel like any part of the tutoring was lacking because the tutors were so engaged and all of the materials we would have used in person were right in front of me on my computer screen. These prep classes really helped to make the test seem much less intimidating and I became more relaxed and calm when taking the test as a result. I learned so many useful test-taking strategies and was able to manage my time much more effectively. After taking the SAT for the first time, my scores were much higher than my PSAT scores earlier this year, and critical reading, which had often been my weakest section in past standardized tests, became one of my strongest sections on the SAT. Thank you so much for all of your help!

The directions to get to the building are simple, unless you follow Waze, which in that case, you just need to look across the street from the main terminal at Groton regional. Upon entering, I was greeted and walked to my classroom where I met the instructor, Danny. He introduced himself and asked me what my job duties were just to get to know me. After a quick tour of the facility and going over basic safety and housekeeping rules, class started. It is a wealth of information and going over what to expect in the water. During class, I was mentally working myself up into a panic because of my personal fear of failing, which I highly suggest NOT doing. After lunch, we got changed into our swimsuits and flightsuits and proceeded to the pool. I am still panicking failure, but I just kept trying to remember the morning class of what I needed to do. They have several divers who will get you if you start to have issues underwater and need to come up, but if you don't panic and take a little longer to put classroom lessons into action, the instructors and divers let you have your time. By the end of class, I ended up loving everything. The instructors are so patient and helpful and answer all questions you have or talk you through any difficulties you have during the practicals. They are really supportive and I couldn't have asked for a better experience to learn how to survive a water landing in an airplane. I HIGHLY recommend Survival Systems. It may not be your cup of tea for training, but I find it important for EVERYONE who flies to take this training. Hopefully, you never have to use it. And don't be like me and get into your own head; just take the course as it is and you will succeed.

The intent was to create a school to prepare boys and girls for college. The original school opened on Main Street in 1803, and eventually became the public high school for Colchester. In 1962, the number of students outgrew the original building, and the school was moved to a new building next to the elementary school. In 1993, a new school was built on Norwich Avenue, and is currently in use. The town of Colchester opens the school for various organizations throughout the year, and I have been honored to speak at various leadership and training sessions there over the years. Even being 23 years old, the school is very modern looking, and in pristine shape. A recent technological upgrade has replaced all the numerous computer towers with thin clients, a major cost savings for the town. It's a beautiful school, and I am happy that Colchester has such a facility in which to educate the future of their town.
