This place is so homey...and an awesome representation of the valley! The food, staff , and atmosphere are all top notch. You won't get a better breakfast...from the bread used for their toast to the jelly you spread on it...everything is homemade, and delicious! There are tons of handmade craft items & sweet treats to buy as well! Definitely a must visit!

The toast is homemade bread and they give you homemade jam as well that you can buy there.

I have not yet visited--goals!--but I am now a loyal customer of Bouchard Family Farm's ployes mix,…read moreand it's safe to say I'm obsessed. Ever since I heard about ployes I wanted to try them, but unfortunately it's impossible to find them in a restaurant unless you're waaaaayyyy up north near the Canadian line in French Acadian territory. Then I found the ployes mix at my local co-op, and decided how hard could it be? It's in fact RIDICULOUSLY easy to make them; you just add water! There's a short video to watch if you go to the farm's website, and I recommend doing that so that you know how to thin the mixture so that it's perfectly spreadable. I've got my technique down now and am coming up with the *perfect* saucer-sized ployes--and they are DELICIOUS. (And healthy and actually not high in calories either.) So far I've just been eating them with a little bit of maple syrup drizzled on top, but apparently you can have them with savory food as well, so I'll definitely try that next. Can't wait to make the trek up to the farm myself someday, and in the meantime, I just want more. Yum!

This is a great local store. On the day we visited, there were lots of fresh vegetables - spring…read morepeas the first of the season's new potatoes, and beets. Also fresh strawberries that had been picked near Presque Isle. We also got a pair of incredibly delicious ribeye steaks that we grilled the same night - definitely worth a return visit. Plus bacon and fresh eggs. We enjoyed all of our picks!! There are some gift-shop items, including stuffed animals, children's books, wood crafts, and country-style decorations.
