Intrigued, I made an appointment with Natalie at Mist of Gold. I wasn't sure what to expect. Upon arriving, I was greeted warmly and Natalie went thorough a basic run-down of what I could (as a newbie) expect from the process. Getting practically naked is no small feat to do, but standing there with someone eyeballing you throughout the process can be a bit unnerving. But Natalie made me feel at ease. The mist smelled fabulous. The process itself was faster than I anticipated and SO easy! I was given directions to make sure my color lasted as long as possible after the spray was done. The color was even and looked really natural. I can easily see how this could become my new habit... ;) If you are up in the air about this, oh ohemgee! Just do It!

She arrived right on time and brought everything needed, including a pop-up tent and protective flooring, so there was no mess left behind. The setup was quick, and the whole process felt surprisingly professional for something done in my own home. What stood out most was how customized the tan was. The technician took time to ask about my skin tone, how dark I wanted to go, and whether I preferred warm or cool undertones. The application itself was fast and even, and I didn't feel rushed at all. Within a few hours, the color developed into a natural-looking glow--no orange tones or streaks, which I've experienced with booth sprays before. I loved the choice of different scents, it was a great touch since I was going to dinner after the spray tan. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a natural, even tan with maximum convenience. Crystal is the nice woman I made my appointment with, and I'm glad I did. She is so professional and nice, and pretty understanding when I was running a few mins late. She took her time to really make sure I was covered evenly. Since it was my first time, she could tell I was nervous, but she helped me feel comfortable pretty quickly. She made sure to talk with me as she sprayed me to make sure I was comfortable and also to just let me know what she was doing and why she was doing it that way. Thanks again Crystal, I will be back.
