Inside, it is bright and has a nice, new, modern feel to it, while the selection of shops is okay, the giant square featuring Grande Arche and the Westfield Les 4 Temps across the way, one of my favourite malls worldwide makes it better.
CNIT stans for Centre of New Industries and Technologies, it was one of the first buildings in La Defense which are the business area of Paris, I like to think of it as a Parisian Canary Wharf.
I did find the lifts a little confusing and difficult to navigate at first.
I did find the loud construction noises throughout during the daytime to be offputting, I get they have to do it sometime and it can be difficult with a hotel, but it just felt a little uncomfortable. The place is weird overall from having offices to shops and hotels, it isn't' HUGE but is a decent size, perhaps they're doing too much?
3* - A really nice building featuring some useful locations from Nespresso to Monoprix, and even a Hilton in a nice part of the city but it's only the start of your La Defense journey.
