I was very excited to find a place that in Melbourne that made obanyaki. They have a range of classic flavours - custard, chocolate, red bean, green tea, etc and they are made fresh and kept warm.
They are a little smaller than what I remember eating in Japan. Also, I think they could be cooked a little longer, as the outside was crispy but the batter on the inside was a little underdone. They seem a bit expensive, but hey, I was just excited to see them in Australia.
They also make a number of other things, such as Dorayaki (surprise surprise), but I've not tried these.
The service was good, fast and friendly. read more
