Neptune Baptist Church

Neptune Baptist Church

Beaches

As an active member of Neptune Baptist Church since 2007 I can honestly say that The Holy Spirit is…read morealive and well within the confines of this stately Baptist Church. The Pastor, Tom Bary and Staff have gone above and beyond to bring Neptune out of the realm of the old stereotypical Southern Baptist Church into a modern 21st century church whose emphasis is on loving Jesus and loving people. The first person who greeted my wife and I some nine years ago was a gentleman by the name of Nels Gyland. I knew nothing about him, but he not only greeted my family with a warm smile, but remembered us when we came back the next week. What I came to find out is that the Gyland Family was salt of the Earth and three generations of Gylands have attended Neptune for a long time. While I have been deeply involved in The Life Groups (Sunday School) Classes, The Upward Sports, The Annual King of the Hill Surf and Fishing competitions and many other activities including the Wee School for my youngest son, I just want to emphasize this church is a model for allowing its members to be active. If you need your batteries recharged, or are simply looking for a church home or place to fellowship with other believers, come by and check us out some Sunday or Wednesday evening. If you are just searching for a place to learn or break bread with some generally friendly Neptune Beach Families, come try us out. My guess is that you will be happy that you did. Paul Crandall

Pet It Forward/Gina deserves the award of the year from our household! We have a precious…read more(ShihTzu) little girl named Princess who desperately needed to be seen by a VET ASAP because I thought she was having a seizure & have bloodwork done due to something she got into. Frantically I called Gina & to my surprise she started making calls for me. Not only did she help find somewhere affordable to take Princess, but stayed in communication w/me the entire trip as well from beginning to end. Even during the VET'S actual visit, to ensure that we received excellent care @11pm at night. Which we did & Princess was able to come home with/a clean bill of health after the scariest night ever! Without Gina walking me through this, idk what I would have done. It's not often that you call a complete stranger & the person on the other end, ends up being an Angel! Gina words truly cannot express to you what you've done for our family. I will certainly not ever forget & will shout from the rooftops that there is certainly still hope for our pets through folks like YOU. P.s. Pretty sure you'll be wearing a cape when we finally meet! #petitforward #shihtzuluv #angelsindisguise

The animals are well taken care of, the people working there are so nice and helpful and booking a highland cow cuddling session was amazing. You can even stay on site if you want that real "outdoorsy" experience - but it's perfect even for a quick day trip. Can't wait to come back again!

Not only is the location a perfect portal to a different type of Florida , but the wagons are all the way in the back so it's perfect privacy. There's also a tent outside to sit and watch pigs take a bath in the fountain. The wagon room we got was the Piggies room! Perfect decor and amenities inside(towels/shampoo/conditioner/tissues/coffee mugs /even games!) Huge bathroom with incredible shower. There is ac but we spent most of the time with the screen door and bathroom window open & it felt great. Included inside:mini fridge, toaster, coffee/tea (included),microwave and a small heater. Plenty of plugs to charge & a full length mirror. We love that there was no tv because we got to watch highland cows instead !! We also got to sleep to rain and it was so peaceful especially waking up every morning to new friends like pigs and sheep! We also saw: 4 highland cows!! , 2 different types of pigs, a family of sheep (+Anya the sassiest girl), cats, dogs, goats, turkeys (that like hugs but scared meee), guinea fowls, chickens and hens, mini horses and a peacock that sounds like Kevin from UP in the nighttime !! All the staff were super friendly including miss Elaine! Truly an incredible place to visit and get to feed pigs all day.
