I have attended and been a part of Mission Church for three years and counting. It is the BEST church I have ever been a part of. First off, the pastors are amazing and dynamic and wonderful. Pastor Tyler is a well spoken, biblical pastor. Everything he teaches comes from the Bible. On top of that he is hilarious and has a huge heart. Worship? OUTSTANDING! Lisa and the worship team bring it every service! So much talent and the holy spirit is alive and comes through every Sunday (and Saturday and Team Prayer, etc.). Serving: So many opportunities to serve and use your heart and talents where God calls you. Small Groups: TONS of small groups to be a part of OR start your own! Youth: HUGE youth group presence. Plus great for kids, etc. The culture starts right at the top and works its way down. Tyler and Rachael Johnson set the tone. Friendly. Approachable. Godly. Fun. No gossip. Down to earth. I have been a member of this church since it was planted in February of 2018. It is the most amazing community ever. The pastor is so well spoken, funny and enthusiastic. There are MANY groups to join in many areas, ages and/or interests. The worship team is fantastic! They bring the energy and fill the room with praise every week! Realize this is a ton of hype! My wife and I have been attending Mission Church for 5+ years now. Having attended several churches in the past, I absolutely never knew how much a church could change my life. I have been a consistent "member" of Mission Church WC since its inception. I am involved in various ministries under the excellent leadership of Tyler and Rachael Johnson. I love Tyler's "preaching/teaching " ( marked with humor, scripture, real life examples, and passion!). Rachael is the best "pastor's wife but contributes her own giftings through the worship team, Women's Ministries, community outreaches and so much more. The worship team is "out this world"- leading us every week to glorify our Lord. Pastors at this church are amazing. They preach from God's word (Bible) but we are an incredibly seeker friendly church. If you haven't been to church in awhile, this is a safe place to come. Mission church is a friendly and welcoming church. It is multigenerational and diverse with a fabulous program for kids from 6 months through high school. In addition there are so many small group opportunities to be a part of... so even though the church is large there is an easy way to get to know people. At Mission, the music engages every Christian young and old to surrender their hearts to the power of the Holy Spirit. The teachings by Pastor Tyler Johnson are Bible based, expertly crafted with love and passionate care for the people in church. Tyler has a wonderful way of weaving scriptures, writings by great theologians and personal revelations together to make his sermons hit soft and hard at the same time. There is always a call to choose to make Jesus your savior at the end of each sermon. Individual needs are prayed for at the altar. Community is found in the many small groups.
