Selling gorgeous, vampy corsets of the highest quality, Bourdoir were a company that originally started in Glasgow and have now come through to the capital. They sell themselves as "corset specialists", and by that it's not the kind of explicitly sexual lingerie that turns up in sex shops, or the gregarious Whiplash Trash. The corsets they sell in here are a bit more tasteful, and with their sexy but delicate lace up backs they are sizzling. They do free sizing sessions in here to see what corset would exactly suit your figure. Whether you go for bold reds and blacks to pastel colours suited for weddings and soft, girly outfits, they are a surefire winner. Prices start at around £90 which I would say is very reasonable for such quality garments.

The store is small and there most likely won't be too many people in there, so it can feel a bit awkward looking at all the sassy frilly stuff in front of a sales associate and the lingerie guard LOL! I must add my sales associate was very nice and I did not sense any unwarranted pressure to buy more. I was debating on which of my two favourite sets to buy and she told me the most practical solution, which I appreciated. I bought the 'classic' piece, because the colorful, less versatile, statement piece would probably go on sale at the end of the season. They specialise in ladies underwear and they offer a huge selection of different sizes, styles and shapes of lingerie. Bravado also sells swimwear, nightwear and dressing gowns. The staff in the store are incredibly warm, inviting and highly knowledgeable about their stock. Bravado do bra fittings which are very accurate and the staff are happy to recommend which styles of shapes of underwear they think would suit your shape best. Bravado also sell maternity swimwear and underwear, as well as specially made mastectomy bras which can be very hard to come by. The range of underwear which Bravado stocks is quite amazing and it is all very reasonably priced considering how specially made all the items. Bravado is definitely the place I go to for fantastic fitting underwear and nightwear - I cannot recommend it more highly. GO!

I managed to find an appropriate nurse outfit and tried it on - imagine my surprise to see my then-boyfriend peeping through a whole in the door.... specifically designed for this purpose!! I felt quite uneasy! When I got to the till (the outfit cost me £28 and was of a far greater quality than other things I had seen in fancy dress shops) I was offered a new 'bullet' vibrator.
