It didn't have to escalate to this but she made something that was not about her about her and then on top of that couldn't do my lashes. I'll be honest I've never made an enemy so fast and for what ? UPDATE: She has now charged me for the service and is claiming that she told me to come back. I've already closed my card ordered a new card and disputed the charge but now she's also a thief and a liar. Update: This whole situation coalesced to what it is b/c she doesn't offer lash bath products or services and some how it's my fault. So ghetto.

I did not like the final result and was not excited or feeling pretty after I left. My eyes did not look natural. I also don't feel like it's fair to advertise that it is a "studio". I felt like I was visiting someone's home and interrupting dinner. It did not feel comfortable. The place was also difficult to find as it is literally located inside a residential apartment complex.

She was pleasant to interact with in person. I felt a few pokes during the appointment on my eyelids but the end look was fine. However, as soon as I got home I started to have fallout. I've had my lashes done for over a year and I know how to take care of them. I have my own brush and lash wash. From just the bike ride home, I found 2 lashes on my shirt. Poor lash retention. I am leaving soon for vacation, so I scheduled a mini fill in. I get a text that Kristin "has an emergency" and has to cancel the appointment - like many other reviewers. When I responded to her with the new date, she responded the following night with the excuse that she was "fully booked". I went to look at her appointments online and see 2 time slots open. What a joke! You would think someone would be more passionate and honest with their small business. I followed another reviewer's advice to dispute my deposit transaction earlier rather than later. I encourage anyone to do the same if you're experiencing the delays, "cancellations", ghosting, and overall lack of professionalism.

I'm particular with my lashes because I despise those thick, ratchet lashes and I work in a professional setting so I need a natural-ish look. Melisa takes her time, discusses what you're looking for (BRING PICS!!!), recommends what would look good with your eye shape, and deliverssss. She also offers BROWN LASHES for an even more natural look. The products she uses are top notch - the lashes are super soft and the glue and lash lift didn't irritate my eyes. She's so gentle that I always fall asleep too! However, when I'm awake, I love chatting with her. She's easy to talk to and we're always laughing. Lastly, I appreciate the ease of booking online. You can tell Melisa genuinely loves what she's doing and cares about her clients. She wants you to look and feel your best, and will do everything she can to give you what you're looking for. I wanted to try a more bold cat-eye look for an event and when she could tell I wasn't in love with it (it was a beautiful set, it was just more volume than I was used to, which is what I asked for), she offered to have me come back so she could fix it!!!
