Our daughter was in Judy Vogeland's art class that year so we approached Judy about the possibility repainting the Burger Family as the Pizza Family ..... we purchased all the paint and Judy's classes proceeded to refinish these 3 members of the family ..... her classes could not accept payment for their work but they could accept a bunch of pizzas and pop! They were then mounted on a concrete pad in front of Papa Aldo's #1 pizza shop for several years until we sold the shop and the new owner did not want them ..... we left them at the pizza shop for a few months deciding we would advertise them for sale ..... ran an ad in the Oregonian and had many, many responses including one from the City of Hillsboro advising us they were on the Hillsboro Cultural Resources list and could not be sold without permission from the city ..... thus our decision to donate them ..... now you know the rest of the story ..... They have pinball machines and video games from the classics all the way up to the present. I actually prefer the more classic pinball machines, because the current ones that they come out with now, have so many different things going on, so many different features, I like the simplicity of the earlier machines. The machines are in immaculate condition, they do a very good job of keeping them up. They do have a few games that you have to pay for, those are the "ticket" type of games. Other than that, everything is pretty much fair game. With your wristband, you can come and go as you please. I got there when they opened at noon, and I stayed until about 4 PM, and then I came back at six and almost stayed till they closed at nine. That's a lot of pinball and video games for a very low price. They do get busier on the weekends, and also on Friday when they have tournaments, but with the massive number of machines, you will find something to play.This is definitely a place to come visit. They have food carts on the outside of the museum, with seating, then they also have a seating area inside the museum. You can have what you ordered on the outside, or they even let you bring your own food and drink. They just ask that you eat in the designated area. The visitor center was closed, so no opinion on that but the staff had started an animal sighting checklist/tally on the whiteboard outside. It looks like you can rent out its adjacent event center for parties, and there's a cool view from that shaded patio space. This place is really not too far south of downtown Hillsboro. The entrance off the highway is clearly marked.

The staff at the dispensary was extremely knowledgable, and our product was discounted, as we were with a tour. We then stopped for food at food trucks up on the Northeast side of town. We then ventured to Multnomah Falls, which were absolutely beautiful. We ended with a trip to a coffee roaster, and then were dropped back off where were staying. I highly recommend this tour company! Sam was very friendly, knowledgable, and funny. Smoking on the bus was awesome, and the drive to Multnomah Falls was absolutely beautiful.

Cedric (the owner) is the literally the best! When I reached out about his company, he called me…read moreand we had a fantastic chat. He was very attentive and wanted to get a vibe for what the group (6 women) wanted and enjoys in life - all so HE could plan 2 amazing days at wineries in the greater Portland area. After the chat, we netted out on two full days (8 hrs each day. We survived by the way.) in June. He picked us up right at our Airbnb (Pearl) in a comfortable van with lots of room and already had the jams playing (his 90s/00s playlist is ON POINT). For the first day, we went out to the Mt. Hood area which was beyond beautiful (don't think I've ever seen a winery with a majestic mountain as a back drop). I highly recommend this route as it has more of a mom & pop feeling than other major wine areas I've visited (especially if you can do multiple days in this region). You also get a wider range of varietals vs. Willamette (not knocking W.V. AT ALL as I'm a Pinot Noir gal). Cedric completely planned the entire day and we hit up 4 different wineries and none disappointed. He also grabbed us lunch which was fantastic. The drive is beautiful along the Colombia River. Dropped off at our place in the Pearl. Day 2 (the following day) we hit up the famous Willamette Valley. We had a couple last minute requests (in terms of must-have wineries) that Cedric completely accommodated and he re-routed our day to ensure we hit the best of the best. He worked his magic and we were able to visit FIVE (!), including the last stop where we chatted with the owner/winemaker while playing bocce ball (Utopia wines). It was a fantastic day. We visited some big players like Domaine Serene (YES) and Stoller (great for a picnic lunch), but also some smaller but beautiful wineries like Colene Clemens (top of hill overlooking valley) and Vista Hills (think tree house vibes). Cedric promised a magical day and he delivered. This was by far my favorite wine tour experience and I've done a lot of them across the country/world. Cedric was the difference maker. He's a fantastic and hilarious host and truly makes the experience one to remember. His company has other drivers as well and I imagine they are of the same breed as Mr. Cedric, so no matter who you get, you won't be disappointed!!
