We took a tour with High 5 yesterday for a friends birthday. He chose the chose your own adventure tour, so we chose 4 stops to take along the way. Sam (who's fucking amazing, by the way) helped him chose the perfect adventure for his big day. We ended up going to sticky fingers grow, lamota dispensary, Liberty glass, and ended at the quarter arcade on Hawthorne. Smoking between stops on the bus the entire tour. We were supposed to visit the grow house, however, the owner of the grow house had an unavoidable personal emergency, which is completely understandable. Despite this, Sam, the owner and guide for the trip provided us with an unforgettable experience. We started off with a visit to a dispensary. The staff at the dispensary was extremely knowledgable, and our product was discounted, as we were with a tour. We then stopped for food at food trucks up on the Northeast side of town. We then ventured to Multnomah Falls, which were absolutely beautiful. We ended with a trip to a coffee roaster, and then were dropped back off where were staying. I highly recommend this tour company! Sam was very friendly, knowledgable, and funny. Smoking on the bus was awesome, and the drive to Multnomah Falls was absolutely beautiful. read more

My daughter and I had a great time on the High Five tour. Sam and the driver (sorry for forgetting your name) were incredibly nice and very accommodating. My daughter can't have gluten so they actually changed the itinerary so that we visited a brewery the makes gluten free beer. Loved this tour. I went on the grow house tour, and I learned so much about cannabis farming! They also offer tours to different dispensaries and coffee houses, to the coast, and down the Columbia Gorge for the waterfalls. For all of them you get to smoke on the bus! Great way to learn, network, make friends or just enjoy a cool day! They even have one where they take you to a local artist who carves ice bongs! Very unique and Portland experience. Sunday - Green Mile Tour Ask your self why you are interested in this tour Are you a rep, starting your own business, or involved in the industry? If yes - this tour is great for you. Time well spent networking. Are you not from Oregon and interested in learning fun facts, and exploring the unfamiliarity of this industry? If yes - this tour is horrible. Three hours wasted. The "tour guide" hardly spoke to us, we were dropped off at three dispensaries with no guidance, then shared a bowl of fries for 45 min. If you want to learn anything from this tour you have to ask questions - otherwise you spend three hours looking out the window. I hate that I'm giving a bad review, but this was not worth the money or time. read more

These guys are amazing! We jumped on a Saturday tour rather spontaneously and had the time of our lives touring the super cozy and holistic Homegrown Apothecary as well as a fantastic indoor grow. The grower was so kind, answering all of our questions with passion and patience. The tour guys kept us loaded and snacked and entertained the entire time; we hardly knew where we were going or remember any of the scenery of the drive because the action on the bus was prime! Our whole group was super fun and enthusiastic, we rolled and smoked joints endlessly and left with more friends than we started with. The dabs were super terpy and kept us floating in the sky and we felt like the coolest kids in town the whole time. Thanks High5 for the Portland experience that every pot enthusiast must enjoy! To put this in simple terms: this tour felt like a bad first date. Honestly, great stops for a brewery tour but a horrible host to go with it. The business idea is great and the tour itself has something to offer, but if Sam wants to be a professional tour guide then maybe he shouldn't drink and smoke with his clients. Especially when it inhibits him from doing his job. Moreover, if you have to give other tours then please let us know at the last brew stop that the tour is nearing the end with the time clock in your hand. Probably a better business model instead of you waiting around for 30 minutes after the ending of the tour to rush us out of brewery and not even offering a friendly apology for your rudeness. All in all, this tour would have been great if there was an actual tour guide to recommend us brews or even fun things to do in Portland. Finally, and most importantly, the bus driver was delightful. read more

I was extremely disappointed with this experience. This wasn't what I would expect from a "tour." I literally did not learn anything new, the "tour guide" didn't share any information at all --- whether it be about history, culture, policies, the city, himself, his business, weed, etc. Complete waste of $75; this pretty much solely served as a taxi from going from point A to point B, and a crappy slice of pizza. You could save a lot of money if you just uber/taxi or ride a bike to some of Portland's dispensaries. Don't waste your money. Even at the end of the tour when the guide asked how I liked it, and I shared this disappointing feedback, all he said was, "...okay..." No apology, no thank you for the feedback so it can be fixed in the future; he just sat there silently, stoned. read more

Sam and the crew were so great for a bachelorette party! Utilizing the choose your own adventure booking, we scheduled the first half for a dispensary stop and then the grow tour. Both places were so welcoming and wonderful for a group ranging from daily smokers to those who have never/don't smoke. They were educational, entertaining and again so welcoming. After we went on to get a great view from Mt. Tabor (kudos to the bus driver for getting up and around there!) and then topped it off with the classic Portland food truck experience. Overall everyone was so accommodating and even picked us up early at no extra charge to fit in to our plans later in the evening. Sam and the community made it all very unique and memorable and I am sure we will all cherish our time celebrating together! I HIGHLY recommend them out of any other tour in town. read more

We booked the 420 tour on Wednesday and it ended up being our crew of five of us so they catered the tour to meet our needs and brought us to a brewery since we are beer lovers! The first stop was home apothecary where they focus on health and wellness but also get into medicinal and recreational marijuana. I was kind of overwhelmed I didn't realize there were so many choices but the guy was super informative. The next stop was Labrewatory I got to pick the owners brain about business and beer and weed and all kinds of great stuff. The last stop on our tour was Serra- which was super fancy! Everything was on a beautiful plate and was marked in a way that I could understand it. The staff was friendly and I'd like to go back and check it out again. I'd recommend this to anyone who is interested to get to know the marijuana industry in Portland. Plus the bus is super nice. If you like to smoke you can smoke on it and the driver and guides are really awesome! read more

I recently rode the High 5 Tour bus with a group of friends. The bus is terrific--very comfortable and well equipped for a fun experience. We toured the Portland Farmers Market with Charlie from Charlie's Deli, then went to his restaurant for a lunch prepared from fresh market foods. A great time was had by all.
