We took a tour with High 5 yesterday for a friends birthday. He chose the chose your own adventure tour, so we chose 4 stops to take along the way. Sam (who's fucking amazing, by the way) helped him chose the perfect adventure for his big day. We ended up going to sticky fingers grow, lamota dispensary, Liberty glass, and ended at the quarter arcade on Hawthorne. Smoking between stops on the bus the entire tour. Sam, and the driver were super professional, and so much fun. We will definitely be taking the bus again. Thanks Sam, you're amazing!!!! read more

High 5 Tours - High 5 was amazing!!!!! - Bus Tours Near Me - Portland, Oregon

We were supposed to visit the grow house, however, the owner of the grow house had an unavoidable personal emergency, which is completely understandable. Despite this, Sam, the owner and guide for the trip provided us with an unforgettable experience. We started off with a visit to a dispensary. The staff at the dispensary was extremely knowledgable, and our product was discounted, as we were with a tour. We then stopped for food at food trucks up on the Northeast side of town. We then ventured to Multnomah Falls, which were absolutely beautiful. We ended with a trip to a coffee roaster, and then were dropped back off where were staying. I highly recommend this tour company! Sam was very friendly, knowledgable, and funny. Smoking on the bus was awesome, and the drive to Multnomah Falls was absolutely beautiful. read more

High 5 Tours is the absolute premier tour company in Portland. I took 3 tours on the High 5 Bus while on a solo trip and had the time of my life. I learned so much about the city and immediately felt like I was hanging with old friends. The stops are impeccably chosen - you will visit the most unique and cool (but still totally down to earth) dispensaries, breweries and eateries. If you want to see the real Portland but feel like a local, this is the tour for you. I would recommend Sam and his team to anyone visiting the PDX area whether you have been once or many times. The tours are perfect for groups of friends, couples, or solos. Connoisseurs and novices alike will love these tours. I cannot rave enough about High 5! Don't hesitate to book! read more

Suuuuuuper FUN! My friend and I planned a trip to Portland and see what the big deal is about these "weed tours". I couldn't have been more pleased with the decision! You really, really walk away appreciating how ludicrous marijuana prohibition is, especially after seeing how well organized, professional and thoughtful the folks in the industry are. High 5 Tours gives you exclusive access to some of Portland's most advanced industrial grow facilities for an insider's look at marijuana growing and cultivation. Tour guide was so nice and well educated and answered every questions asked and also gave out some few tips :) It was great being around so many like-minded people for 3 hours. The group was a total mix of different ages, ethnicities, and personalities. Overall experience????....I give it a "high 5". Thanks High 5 Tours for a great experience! read more

My daughter and I had a great time on the High Five tour. Sam and the driver (sorry for forgetting your name) were incredibly nice and very accommodating. My daughter can't have gluten so they actually changed the itinerary so that we visited a brewery the makes gluten free beer. We learned a lot about the cannibis industry and the impact of legalization on the state of Oregon. It was an enlightening and fun tour! I highly recommend it! read more

I've been on 2 tours so far and they have both been amazing. The first was a bingo night to the World Famous Cannabis club which was awesome and hilarious. The next time we did a St Paddy's day tour around Portland visiting bars and dispensaries. Sam is a great tour operator, he's passionate about this new industry and he shows everyone from first timers to regular smokers a great time. read more

Great tour with an excellent guide. Highly recommended for locals and tourists alike.

Definitely a must do if you're in Portland. The guys are super chill and very knowledgeable about the area as well as weed. I hadn't smoked in years and everyone made me feel comfortable. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm on the west coast! Thanks again guys for being awesome to chill with for the day! read more

Loved this tour. I went on the grow house tour, and I learned so much about cannabis farming! They also offer tours to different dispensaries and coffee houses, to the coast, and down the Columbia Gorge for the waterfalls. For all of them you get to smoke on the bus! Great way to learn, network, make friends or just enjoy a cool day! They even have one where they take you to a local artist who carves ice bongs! Very unique and Portland experience. Definitely a must do. read more

Wow, what an amazing, fun, wild time Sam and Octavio treated us to!! I could not think of a better way to have spent in Portland the day before our wedding!! We had a small intimate tour where we went to some cool places and met some of the most amazing people! Thanks High 5 tours for a once in a lifetime fun experience!! We'll def be back!! read more

My colleagues and I came to portland on a business trip and had a private tour with Sam as our host. He customized the tour to our needs and took us to the best places. He was very kind in sharing many stories and engaging us in great conversations. He was incredibly attentive and always made sure we were having a great time. This a great tour for any business travelers that want to see the town in a very relaxed and fun way; much better and safer than going to a bar and drink. We were up early the next day feeling like a million bucks ready for work, no hangover! -- Thanks Sam! The Ladies from MJ Lifestyle Magazine. read more

Sunday - Green Mile Tour Ask your self why you are interested in this tour Are you a rep, starting your own business, or involved in the industry? If yes - this tour is great for you. Time well spent networking. Are you not from Oregon and interested in learning fun facts, and exploring the unfamiliarity of this industry? If yes - this tour is horrible. Three hours wasted. The "tour guide" hardly spoke to us, we were dropped off at three dispensaries with no guidance, then shared a bowl of fries for 45 min. If you want to learn anything from this tour you have to ask questions - otherwise you spend three hours looking out the window. I hate that I'm giving a bad review, but this was not worth the money or time. read more

I Highly recommend High 5 Tours! I took my dad as it's been his life long dream that Cannabis be legalized and recreational. The tour was fun, informative, and the bus was cozy. I recommend the 'green' seat! read more

These guys are amazing! We jumped on a Saturday tour rather spontaneously and had the time of our lives touring the super cozy and holistic Homegrown Apothecary as well as a fantastic indoor grow. The grower was so kind, answering all of our questions with passion and patience. The tour guys kept us loaded and snacked and entertained the entire time; we hardly knew where we were going or remember any of the scenery of the drive because the action on the bus was prime! Our whole group was super fun and enthusiastic, we rolled and smoked joints endlessly and left with more friends than we started with. The dabs were super terpy and kept us floating in the sky and we felt like the coolest kids in town the whole time. Thanks High5 for the Portland experience that every pot enthusiast must enjoy! We'll definitely be sending friends your way! read more

To put this in simple terms: this tour felt like a bad first date. Honestly, great stops for a brewery tour but a horrible host to go with it. The business idea is great and the tour itself has something to offer, but if Sam wants to be a professional tour guide then maybe he shouldn't drink and smoke with his clients. Especially when it inhibits him from doing his job. Moreover, if you have to give other tours then please let us know at the last brew stop that the tour is nearing the end with the time clock in your hand. Probably a better business model instead of you waiting around for 30 minutes after the ending of the tour to rush us out of brewery and not even offering a friendly apology for your rudeness. All in all, this tour would have been great if there was an actual tour guide to recommend us brews or even fun things to do in Portland. Finally, and most importantly, the bus driver was delightful. read more

It was a magical experience. The waterfalls were beautiful. It was relaxing not having to drive and just enjoy ourselves. Good conversation with others. read more

I was extremely disappointed with this experience. This wasn't what I would expect from a "tour." I literally did not learn anything new, the "tour guide" didn't share any information at all --- whether it be about history, culture, policies, the city, himself, his business, weed, etc. Complete waste of $75; this pretty much solely served as a taxi from going from point A to point B, and a crappy slice of pizza. You could save a lot of money if you just uber/taxi or ride a bike to some of Portland's dispensaries. Don't waste your money. Even at the end of the tour when the guide asked how I liked it, and I shared this disappointing feedback, all he said was, "...okay..." No apology, no thank you for the feedback so it can be fixed in the future; he just sat there silently, stoned. read more

Sam and the crew were so great for a bachelorette party! Utilizing the choose your own adventure booking, we scheduled the first half for a dispensary stop and then the grow tour. Both places were so welcoming and wonderful for a group ranging from daily smokers to those who have never/don't smoke. They were educational, entertaining and again so welcoming. After we went on to get a great view from Mt. Tabor (kudos to the bus driver for getting up and around there!) and then topped it off with the classic Portland food truck experience. Overall everyone was so accommodating and even picked us up early at no extra charge to fit in to our plans later in the evening. Sam and the community made it all very unique and memorable and I am sure we will all cherish our time celebrating together! I HIGHLY recommend them out of any other tour in town. read more

We booked the 420 tour on Wednesday and it ended up being our crew of five of us so they catered the tour to meet our needs and brought us to a brewery since we are beer lovers! The first stop was home apothecary where they focus on health and wellness but also get into medicinal and recreational marijuana. I was kind of overwhelmed I didn't realize there were so many choices but the guy was super informative. The next stop was Labrewatory I got to pick the owners brain about business and beer and weed and all kinds of great stuff. The last stop on our tour was Serra- which was super fancy! Everything was on a beautiful plate and was marked in a way that I could understand it. The staff was friendly and I'd like to go back and check it out again. I'd recommend this to anyone who is interested to get to know the marijuana industry in Portland. Plus the bus is super nice. If you like to smoke you can smoke on it and the driver and guides are really awesome! read more

I recently rode the High 5 Tour bus with a group of friends. The bus is terrific--very comfortable and well equipped for a fun experience. We toured the Portland Farmers Market with Charlie from Charlie's Deli, then went to his restaurant for a lunch prepared from fresh market foods. A great time was had by all. Thank you Sam for taking such good care of us. read more

UPDATE: I'm bumping the rating from 2 to 3 stars. These guys saw my original review, apologized, and offered a full refund. Perhaps I will give them another shot the next time I'm in the area. read more
