Wow! It's incredible how this service can have 5 star reviews here on yelp, considering how UNPROFESSIONAL, and IRRESPONSIBLE they are! My last insurance was about to expire and I was in search for a new one. The fake yelp reviews here got me convinced that they might be a good one to try. So I called up and a guy name Matt picked up. Oh my gosh guys look out for this guy!! Matt is the biggest prick and he is out to rip you off your money. He had a pretty fast tone from the start where he was cutting me off every second, seemed frustrated and was as impatient with me as he could be. I was trying to communicate of what I wanted and was looking for but he kept on offering deals, not willing to listen to what I was looking for at all. We continued on speaking like a recorded voice over at one point, repeating the same thing over and over and getting frustrated when I was not responding as I was not getting a chance at all! Like what's up with this guy. But oh no, the fun had just begun. They apparently never filed my Sr22 certificate, and when I got aware of that, I was furious. By that point I had it with this company. No customer should ever have to hold so much patience with a company who specially has workers like him working. I immediately cancelled my policy the same day. Now, they apparently charge a BROKER FEE and guys be aware of that! I just found out that a BROKER FEE should not exist in the first place but I got ripped off of that and got charged $150. Once I cancelled my policy, they never returned back my $150 and through all of this I ended up loosing $150, my patience and a bit of my sanity by the end. This is not how a insurance company should be like what so ever! There is no sense of professionalism at all at MIS Insurance and there will never be any kind of recommendation from me. Make mindful decisions with choosing companies and agencies. You never know what types of rip offs they can end up being! read more

Usually I'm not a big fan when it comes to criticizing businesses on my first encounter with them, but this was had to be mentioned. It started with me speaking on the phone with Lisa. From the start, her tone was not businesses professional at all. Had a very rough way of talking and in simple terms was very rude over all. I had a terribly busy week and honestly didn't want to go looking for another insurance company so I still proceeded on talking, regardless how I was treated with Lisa's rough attitude. Now comes the real problem with Matt. The reason that triggered this review. It was well in the beginning and he was semi-patient and willing to give me a low quote which for a moment had me excited and relieved. For a brief second he put me on hold on the phone and then came back charging me $300 for a broker fee. Like WHAT!! It was absurd and honestly I had no more interest in associating any form on business with them so I hung up. But apparently they know how to get their way around with customers and he continuously kept on calling me back when I kept on insisting on not doing so. At the end I had to block their number on my phone. There are certain standards businesses should follow with customers and they should learn to keep it consistent all around. It's unfortunate that I had to face this but after this experience, there is no way I am ever recommending them to anyone. I leave it up to you to be the judge of this situation. A company should display professionalism, care, kindness and knowledge when it comes to conducting good long lasting businesses with long term customers and from how I was treated, they sure as hell didn't display any of that. read more

OMG THIS WAS CRAZY!!! Lisa the woman who works there is not professional at all! Picked up the phone, did not even mention the company name and basically greeted me in the rudest manner possible! Then a guy named Matt picked up the phone, gave me a quote the first time and after a couple minutes of conversation took my credit card information, went somewhere putting me on hold for 15min!!! Came back and said that he was gonna charge me a additional $100 over what he had initially said the amount was going to be. That was suppose to be the broker fee. WHAT THE HELL! I mean I was completely frustrated, pissed off and couldn't believe what was just happening! They are the biggest rip offs and talk about being a fraud! I hung up pissed and mad as I could be and guys be aware of these people. MIS is not the company you want to put your trust in. Go to Geico, State farm I don't know any well known companies with well known recognition. Small businesses with associates like Matt and Lisa are just frauds! LOOK NO FURTHER! KEN FROM M.I.S. IS YOUR MAN! I had a difficult to understand & potentially expensive situation regarding my driving status with the DMV. After countless calls, emails & repeatedly giving out my information for quotes, I had enough clicking on wonderful low advertised deals to spend precious time on the phone just to find out MY rates were much much higher. I am so happy I reached out to MIS Insurance. Ken is absolutely WONDERFUL! I was up late and was desperately looking to get an SR-22 and insurance coverage for my husband's vehicle. He responded with a text message in less than 10 minutes. Did I mention this was late, like close to midnight? My husband had his SR-22 and insurance on his car the very next day. Ken made this such an easy process. He also saved us a lot of money. When I called to make the payment to start the insurance he realized my husband and I were married and looked for a marriage discount and was able to secure one, dropping our rate even lower. Yes there is a broker fee but in the end this policy was way more affordable than anything out there. You can sign your documents online and there is no need to go into an office. 3 years ago-Horrible! I had a problem every month with their automatic billing. Found out that not only did 3 payments not go through but that my policy was canceled. I didn't hear from them or the insurance company they brokered out to, I found out from the bank holding my car loan. Worst of all, I can never get anyone on the phone or a response back. After charging me first payment of 475.00 mind you I had a clean record, and recharging me every other month the fees due to cancelled policies. I calculated paying them for 3 years $735.00. It was a joke to bad I did not read the reviews earlier what people are saying. Buyer be at your own risk you have been warned with to many negative reviews on here. Also if you decide to go with this company ask them how much broker fee is upfront, that's your right as a consumer, ask to see the paperwork first, before signing as well handing over your payment info. read more

Mat hooked me up. They were able to help me file an SR-22. It was a little embarrassing to have to get this filed, but Mat totally made me feel at peace with it. "Things happen, and so as long as you know what you did wrong, then that's why these things exist." His words, not mine. Either way, I was asking around with some my friends who had gotten there SR-22 filed and they told me to come here. I can highly recommend these guys. Outstanding customer service from Mat. They said they have the cheapest auto Insurance in California and they're not kidding, but I had to double-check with some of the online providers, which was a huge waste of time, because I had to give out my SSN like 15 times and now I have a bunch of SPAM from these fools. This company has some the most astounding persistent amassing customer article representatives around! I had an issue with a claim and nobody could figure out how to help me or who to get in contact with. Then by happenstance this wonderful gentlemen Christian was helping me and he made miracles happen! He quite literally moved mountains, not only did he resolve an ongoing issue i had for 4 months, he got my checks expedited, reached out and made contact with me on multiple occasions concerning this same issue. I would be writing a nasty review. But because of this gentlemen I am writing a great positive one! Keep him around and hire more people like him. Ima start off by saying YOU NEED TO COME TO MIS INSURANCE ASAP!! Angelica was my representative I worked with and when I tell you I received THEE greatest service, I mean it!! She is A1!! I inquired online for SR-22 insurance(for a no insurance fender bender ), got a call immediately, took a vacation and asked her to call me in a week, then again asked her to call after the holidays and she was on top of it!! I am a procrastinator who needed to reinstate my license BY TOMORROW and because of her, I did everything in just 1 day!! This was his first time choosing his own plan, and Julie was very patient in explaining the logistics and details of each and every plan. She even searched his current plan to see if they could match their offered plans. We mostly interacted with Julie. She was friendly when we spoke with her on the phone, and when we came into their office for finalizing some paperwork, she was extra nice. I called in a state of worry to get SR-22 non-owner insurance so I can apply with the DMV for a restrictive license after trying to reach other agencies that do this as well. I had no luck but low and behold I saw his info on google web search, called and Ken of Matin Ins Services was from the get go very helpful and expedient with his expertise on assisting me to get the right SR-22 non owner policy to get mailed out DMV with $125 to start process.
