Went through $3500 in a matter of days. Fruit? One document created. She tried to file it and we wasted 2 days before she realized that you can't file an exparte over the internet. So we had to drive to Martinez to file it. Anyhow, they had a good plan and we won the exparte but it took way too much $ for the result. I also did not communicate much or run the bill up and provided the core docs efficiently. And so this was just a matter of mismanagement of the case (imo). It's too bad because the paper she wrote was good. I'd say just take the advice on the first meeting and then prepare your stuff on your own if you are able. read more

I was going through an extremely lengthy and difficult divorce in which my ex deliberately delayed the process. I wasted so much time, money, and energy trying to get my ex to cooperate or come to agreement. Once I hired Kevin Li, progress was made quickly, and Kevin was able to explain all options and process in simple terms. Not to mention, the outcome was much better than what I had anticipated. Even after the divorce was finalized, Kevin made sure that all agreements were honored in a timely manner, assisting every step of the way. Kevin demonstrated extreme professionalism and understanding of the law, but his compassion made me feel comfortable, confident, and put my mind at ease. I am extremely grateful and highly recommend hiring Kevin Li to anyone who is going through a divorce. Kevin and the team's secretary answered all my questions, returned phone calls, and answered emails promptly. If you are looking for someone to fight for you, do not hesitate to give him a call. read more

My partner and I sought legal advice on bringing my fiance' to the United States with this office after having called a few immigration attorney offices around Monterey County. Having never seeked legal advice before it was a refreshing experience in which we both really felt that Patricia listened intently to our goals and needs, and then not only gave us thorough advice, but also she really showed a lot of empathy with our situation and all the challenges we faced in what we trying to do. I would definitely recommend this office for anyone who is unclear about what to do relating to immigration legal issues, we seriously felt much better after talking to Patricia. Thank you again! read more

I did hire Levi and had to fire him after the first month. I should have read other reviews here more carefully. What he was doing is border criminal and I am preparing to take him to the court for that. To be clear, I had many attorneys in children custody case that lasted many years, I was not exactly a novice in that area. Its absolutely true what other reviewers say here, Levi does talk a lot about nothing, totally useless information lasting hours and hours. In my case he did try to capitalize on my fair of losing custody, directly threatening me about it, that the only way I survive is if I do exactly what he says, and he will be spending hundreds of hours per month to explain what I need to do or not to do. All that was useless, my situation was never as bad as he portrayed to me and got much better as soon as I fired him. What I heard later from co-parenting coordinator, it was clear that Levi was not representing my interests as he was supposed to. To be clear, on my initial consultation with Levi, we agreed on action plan, expected results, and the price for the job. The upcoming hearing was very soon, and his office presented me totally different contract, leaving out the agreed terms. Since I needed Levi in the hearing, signed the contract, hoping that Levi will honor the terms. He did not. I asked him on the first month to honor the terms, he was complaining about his own office that his hands are tied. And I ended up firing him after the first month. He did not do anything on what we agreed on. Instead, his office spent hours and hours preparing I&E and "analyzing" financial discovery materials that I have not even provided. When I confronted about that, they removed some hours from the billing. But later charged again. read more

Searching for the right Family Law Attorney was the ultimate goal for myself and my children and upon researching on the internet I stumbled upon 3 in the Salinas area that seemed to have what I was looking for. I hesitantly called for a consultation with 3 different attorneys, booked them all in one day and patiently waited for the day to come. Levi's office was the 2nd appointment I had for the day and after the initial consultation with Levi, I cancelled my appointment with the last attorney. I knew Levi was the right person to advocate for me and my children to protect my rights as a parent and also the rights of my kids. Nonchalant, no BS, straight to the point with all options explained. That's what you will receive each and every time you deal with Levi. One of the paralegals in the office, Laura, is a gem! She is extremely efficient, trustworthy, but also firm and straight to the point. No T is uncrossed and all bases are covered. The whole legal process is and can be extremely stressful, with sleepless nights and endless tears. Being an extremely passive, non confrontational person, they walked me through the legal process with my head held high and without their support (and the support of my family) I don't know what would have happened thus far. They are easy to get a hold of, prompt with their call backs and all documents can be viewed on their clouded electronic practice management program -- very similar to electronic medical records that most of the hospitals and doctors offices use for paperwork, charts, lab work, etc. Although, this is only the beginning for my particular case, I know and trust Levi and his staff 100%. They are well known with the legal community and well versed with Family Law. This is what you need, this office will get things done for the benefit of the children as well as yourself. In fact, on my particular court day Levi had multiple cases to represent and the Judge praised Levi on a job well done and that all cases ( in a perfect world ) should end the way this one did. In all honesty, I'm almost positive other attorneys would feel a bit intimidated to have Levi representing against them. All in all, this office is who will get things done, Levi and Laura will get things done. Dont waste your time elsewhere. Bravo Levi and Laura. Many thanks to you and your dedication. read more

The entire team at MMM are superstars! I appreciate all the time and prep that went into my original case many years ago. They are knowledgeable, extremely thorough, and prepared me for every possible scenario. I can't thank them enough! read more

After hiring a local attorney who completely screwed up our case, we were lucky to find and hire Mr. Miranda to fix what the other attorney had screwed up. Mr. Miranda and Adriana are two people who are credible, professional, extremely knowledgable and reasonable They will walk you through everything to make sure you understand what you are signing, explain what are your options and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. We are so thankful for their help and for taking our case even though he knew that it was going to be hard to undo what the other attorney did. Working with Patricia was a professional encounter unlike any other, an absolute 5-star experience. From the first moment we walked into our consultation until the moment our case was closed and my husband walked away with his permanent resident card Patricia was communicative, professional, and thorough. Her team contacted us every step of the way providing valuable process and law changes we would not have been able to catch if we tried to navigate this endeavor alone. Patricia answered our endless question stream with thoughtfulness and care, calling us countless times to ensure we were clear on every piece of our special case. I would highly recommend working with Patricia and her team if you want timely and professional results with your case. Thank you again Patricia, you will forever be a part of our happily ever after. read more

I only got one important question answered for $450. I went to see Levi a couple weeks ago to get some legal advice about an upcoming hearing. I have not retained services. I don't think I could afford to do so because he's able to talk for a very long time about nothing. I think that you could get some very valuable information out of him if you are able to get him to stop talking about useless information. Not unlike a used car salesman, he has a few choice catchphrases like "I could explain why that is, if you'd like." Umm yeah- thanks handsome, but you just spent 20 minutes explaining to me why I shouldn't have submitted my documents in the manner I did six months ago. So I think I have enough useless information- thanks. I eventually got SOME of the information I needed out of him, but for nearly twice my budget because, as I may have mentioned, he was able to rant enough to go quite a bit over my time limit. I'm sure a lot a lawyers are like this- but I made it clear to him that I didn't have much money, and that didn't seem to affect his desire to reach an amount. And he took five minutes to read half a page of double spaced text. Wow. That was painful to see. My child can read faster than that. Maybe I should have cut my losses halfway through our appointment. It was so obvious that he had carefully crafted time gobbling techniques in play. read more

The attorney had to Google all the answers to my questions. She stated I would not be eligible for citizenship via marriage, despite 20 years as a Green Card holder and eight years of documented marriage in the U.S. Gave subjective political comments regarding presidential nominees. I don't need political opinions when consulting an attorney - just correct advice. Unfortunately, this appears to be lacking in this establishment. Go to San Francisco or Los Angeles if you want a "real" lawyer. read more

After careful consideration of our options my wife and I decided to file for bankruptcy. We did plenty of research and when it came time to start looking for a lawyer we kept in mind to "shop around" and make sure whoever we decided on made us feel "comfortable". After speaking with three lawyers we did not feel any of them were right for us until we met with Michael Miranda. During our initial consultation it was clear Michael new much about his practice area and seemed genuinely interested in even the smallest details of our situation. We needed no time to think, we hired him on the spot. We had some unique difficulties with our bankruptcy due to an unrelated financial case we were involved in but Michael did all he could to work with us often requiring paper-work to be re-written as new developments arose. He was always available and willing to answer any questions we had. By the time all was said and done we could not have been happier with our decision in choosing Michael to represent us. From the moment we sat down and began to discuss our situation there was no denying we felt very comfortable. We are well on our way to a new start financially and are immensely grateful to Michael for getting us here. read more

When we needed an immigration attorney - we looked to firm. Right from the start... Adrianna started up the process and then put us in contact with Patricia. From Start to finish, It was a great experience. Patricia did not hold back when asking questions and for expecting us to provide certain documents. Even when it seemed like overkill, she emphasized the need and together we were able to get our packet together. The process was so well organized and complete that even after our interview at the immigration office, they told us it would be 2-3 months before we received our decision... it wasnt even a month and all was completed. I cant say thank you enough for all of their help. Their attention to even the most miniscule details. Their door was always open if we had any questions. I highly recommend Patricia and her staff for any of your legal needs. We will definately be going back to them when we need other legal help. read more
