Also very reasonably priced. Our room was nicely sized, had very basic decor, and a convenient little kitchenette. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at the hotel again, either on business travel or for leisure. Pluses: - Friendly staff. - Convenient location. - Enjoyable buffet breakfast. - Three fast and quiet lifts. - Comfortable beds. - Shower with hand-shower. - Fully equipped kitchenette. - Good speed internet Minuses: - Parking was not available onsite. - Curtains allowed light in the morning. - Weirdly mounted tv in the studio area makes watching tv rather challenging.

I personally felt it could be more modern. The UGLY... 2 singles joined together do not make a king size bed. Both single beds sag in! Very BAD!! WIR? Nope. The mall is walking distance as well. If you want to see Parliment you'll need transportation because the walk is about 55 minutes.

The apartment was well-designed and had a kitchenette, laundry facilities, balcony, flat screen TVs in the bedroom and lounge, good bathroom and a king-sized bed. It's in an excellent location - just a 5-minute walk to the MacArthur Avenue light rail stop and a short drive to all the attractions and dining precincts in Canberra. The hotel carpets and soft furnishings were tired and the bed was a bit too soft. There was a daily housekeeping service, but it was a little spotty (no dishwasher detergent or laundry detergent was provided, and coffee and tea supplies were not replenished) otherwise this is a really good value option for a stay in Canberra.

Facilities: Got a pool, gym, parking, full kitchen (though missing a pair of scissors for a kitchen), what more can you ask for! Setting: Perfect for a family. We had 3 families and a baby. With 4 bedrooms. It was perfect for us overall. Gives us room to cook and some common area to play. 2 bathrooms. Too easy! All rooms are heated too so perfect for a cold Canberra night. Condition: Clean enough for us to allow the baby to crawl around! One of the bedroom lights were flickering though but otherwise no big deal. Staff: Friendly! So what's wrong? - car park super tight. With any bigger suvs you'd seriously struggle to park - one of the bedrooms the lights flicker - we ordered an apartment with 2 queen beds and 2 rooms with 2x singles. 4 bedrooms in total. However only 1 room had a double bed the rest were all singles. Not what we booked.

Don't get me wrong, it's still a good place, it just want as good as the first time. This hotel is located in southeastern Canberra in the Kingston/Manuka area. From here you can walk to either of the areas in those two neighborhoods that has tons of restaurants, so that's good. The hotel is very nice and also modern and very clean. There's a restaurant and a restaurant/bar just off the lobby. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with whatever. The rooms are fairly spacious and as clean and modern as other areas of the hotel. My room had a fridge, coffee maker, stovetop and a nice view. A couple things I like about the hotel: the have free wifi for guests, and there are computers in the lobby you can use. Also, they have bikes you can borrow for free which you can use to get around town a bit. Like I said though, although I like the place, I don't like it as much as I used to. Why? There was a 100MB limit/day on the wifi. Somehow I burned that up in about 20 minutes my first day, despite my not downloading and files, upgrades, audio or video. I was more careful in the future and did not have this problem again (the free Canberra city wifi a block away helped). The breakfast place was different this time and although it resulted in better food, it was more expensive. I only need something simple, but that wasn't really an option. Also, my room was smaller than last time and with no bathtub. So I still like it, but it's not as good as before.
