Always able to get in and adjusted. Trust Miranda implicitly. Always leave feeling better than I came in. New location is great.

I highly recommend Dr. Miranda. I was referred to him about 9 years ago with chronic lower back issues originating from a 35-year-old ski injury that kept me out of alignment and in near-constant discomfort and pain. Other local chiropractors weren't able to help me with, but Dr. Miranda quickly resolved the issue. Since then, I have gone for regular adjustments ("tune-ups") to keep me in alignment, and I remain strong and pain-free, even with a very active lifestyle. Dr. Miranda is very attentive to any issues that crop up between visits. He is also an exceptionally nice man, all in all a wonderful care provider. read more

Mahalo Phil for your time and expertise. I highly recommend Phil at Miranda Chiropractic . I had called with an emergency situation last minute and he made time to squeeze me into his busy day. He took time to "listen" to my needs, followed with questions and proceeded in therapy. I am very happy and pain released through his practices he performed. The right amount of pressure was applied and always asked if I was ok after each method. And always explained what and why he was doing what he was doing. I am so thankful for Dr. Phil and his practice, and highly recommend him to anyone in need of a great chiropractor! It was a pleasant , feel good kind of pain experience. Mahalo - GinnyJo read more

I've seen Dr. Miranda 3 times now. I have tried 2 other chiropractors here on the BI all were good but Dr. Miranda is great! Seriously-Not only did he un-pinch my nerves in my neck but he also adjusted my lower back. My lower back had been hurting for years. To my surprise after my adjustment with Dr. Miranda my low back feels amazing. If you're going to take time out of your day for an adjustment then go to Dr. Miranda! My last adjustment was a week ago and I am still feeling great. Thank you Dr. Miranda! read more

I got a massive knot in my neck while on vacation, causing intense headaches. Miranda Chiropractic was able to squeeze me in to an end-of-day appointment and gave me what felt like a luxury-level treatment. Thanks for saving my vacation! read more

Dr Miranda got my back fixed up during our week in Kona. My chiropractor at home recommended that should get at least one back crackin while I was on vacation. In addition to that I wrenched my back on a water slide at the hotel pool the week before I visited Dr Miranda. He gave me a great adjustment and I was able to move again. The office staff is very polite and courteous. Dr Miranda walked me through all the adjustments he did and I walked out of his office much more mobile. We visit Kona every other year and I'm sure I'll be back to see him. It's great to know I can get seen while on vacation. read more

My mom slipped on some steps and fell on the trip over to the big island. They got her right in for an adjustment and it definitely got her feeling better. It really got the vacation back on track. Super friendly staff. Really nice chiropractor. Thanks!!! read more

Dr. Miranda was fantastic. I was visiting Hawaii and completely threw my back. I was in so much pain during my vacation I have never been to a chiropractor before, so my guard was really high.....but he was excellent. He listened to my issues and fixed me up. I felt very comfortable with him. I was unable to get up and walk comfortably after he realigned my back, and now I am able to do all the normal things a person can do. He did not sell me anything I didn't need. He did exactly what I wanted him to do. That is what a real doctor does. He saved my back. I dont know when the next time I will be visiting Hawaii, but I will always go see him. read more

Friendly staff, same day service Gets the job done! No hassle no need to return and at a very reasonable price.

Awesome. Wish I would have found this place years ago. Right downtown. Easy to get to. Receptionist remembers name as does the chiropractor read more

I'm way past writing this review, but here it goes! I threw my neck out on New Year's Eve. The kind that makes you look like you have no neck joint when you turn your whole body to look to the left or the right! I called Dr. Miranda's office and they were able to get me in right away even though they were closing at noon. His adjustment were instantaneous relief! Everyone treated me great and like I was a long time customer, not just a one time mainland tourist! After I was home I found out my insurance company were acting like a-holes and wouldn't pay what they said they would! I called their office and wanted to pay them the remainder but Dr. Miranda said we were all good! The whole team there saved my trip, and I could not recommend them more! read more

About 1 month ago I laid my motorcycle down & had som muscle pain & received Chiro treatment home in California. After flying here & laying on the pull out couch bed my back became so incredibly painful I couldn't even stand up straight & was in horrible pain! I called at 9am & they got me in right away! Dr Miranda massaged & adjusted me better than any other chiropractor I've ever had! I felt so comfortable & know not only will I be going back this week before my flight home but also when I come back read more

Having been to many chiropractic practitioners over the years, you can tell very quickly that Dr. Miranda is a true professional, who is an expert in his field, and who cares deeply about his patients. He also applies his own experience as an athlete to fully relate to your scenario. He's both gentle and firm, and confident in his abilities. Great guy, great service. Highly recommended. read more

I tweaked my back the second day of an 8 day trip. Showed up at 9AM the following day on a Monday and they saw me right away. I was out by 10 feeling like a million bucks! read more

Dr. Miranda is an excellent chiropractor. I've been in several times for a routine adjustment and I wish I could go more! His assessment is quick and thorough and he took the time to address my concerns and go over my health history. He includes a manual massage and muscle relaxer machine thing-y to help loosen me up and then ends the adjustment with a nice ice down. I always leave here feeling rejuvenated. read more

If I lived here, this would be my chiropractic office. I'm on vacation and threw out my back - chose this office because of the consistent excellent reviews everywhere I looked online. Friendly and delightful office staff, chiropractor Jesse is an absolute master. They are very busy so I recommend you show up right when they open for walk in. Otherwise, you can make an appointment. They didn't take my insurance but were well worth the cost. Ice packs and electric stim afterwords with the sweetest tech ever (I'm blanking on her name but it starts with a T). No wonder they get great reviews! Including mine read more

Excellent therapy and adjustment. Friendly and professional service. I will return next time I'm in Kona if I need an adjustment, and I would recommend Dr. Miranda to my friends. read more

I was visiting Kona in October 2015, and desperately needed a chiropractor due to neck pain. His staff made adjustments in the schedule to get me in which was the first of many good things about this visit. Knowing I'd never be a consistent patient, I feared the appointment wouldn't be great....boy, was I wrong. Dr. Miranda was absolutely awesome. He took the time to ask what's going on, for how long, etc. Overall, he spent a lot of time with me, utilizing a number of modalities to help me heal. Afterwards, I felt ah-mazing. If I didn't live in Wisconsin, I'd be seeing him more often. Do not hesitate giving him a call. Highly recommend! read more

Wow!!! Best experience on the island thus far in chiropractic. I had on going pain , was seeing another chiropractor, but pain ongoing. So I called Miranda... Got in the same day. All the stretches, adjustment, ice etc. proved very helpful. I was pain free next day!!!! They are good. read more

Dr. Miranda was able to get movement from joints that even my regular chiropractor has trouble with. After the adjustment, he put on ice packs and applied electircal stimulation to help the muscles relax and the adjustment to hold. Note that the office is way inside a business park, and the curbside signs do NOT have the business name on it. read more

My wife wrenched her back while diving, and our regular chiropractors back home were away on a trip so we couldn't get a referral from them to anyone in the Kailua area. We called their college, got a referral to someone here, called the guy, and he said he was going out of town and we should go to his chiropractor, Dr. Miranda. Dr. M saw us quickly and after two visits, my wife was well enough to do a night dive that we couldn't reschedule. She reports he was attentive and methodical, knew his hip stuff, and adjusted very effectively. The ice treatment afterward helped the adjustment last. Discount if you check in on yelp. The place is a tiny bit hard to find; basically you pull in between the Taco Bell and PIzza Hut and then keep going to the office complex in the back. read more

Really impressed that we were able to walk in without an appointment 5 minutes before they opened and get seen even though we've never been here before! My wife was in desperate need of an adjustment while on our vacation and this did just the trick! read more

I first went to Miranda Chiropractic.....hmm....7 years ago? And haven't stopped since! They ALWAYS have time for you, their staff definitely has personality! The facility's are great! I love getting "shocked" after an alignment with ice packs. And then they've got the upside down hangy thing that relieves so much pressure from my lower back. I sit for 10-14 hours a day in front of a computer and Dr.Phil has helped me stay pain free for years! Tough to find, but totally worth the search. Drive between taco bell and pizza hut through the parking lot to the building in the back, look to your left, you'll see stairs, their office is behind the stairwell. Don't know the office number, but you'll know you found the place when a friendly face popsup from behind the counter. read more

Dr. Miranda is absolutely amazing. My entire family (kids too) see him routinely and for incidental visits. My husband found him on Yelp and he was so accommodating and personable. His technique is beyond reproach and I trust him entirely. I will continue to see Dr. Miranda and recommend him to everyone I meet who needs a great Chiropractor! read more

Great place to go to for a quick fix - Dr. Miranda was very professional about my injury, and gave me additional advice and even some physical therapy works for other things i even didn't ask about. So overall, great attentive and extensive service at a very decent rate. read more

I absolutely love going to see Dr. Miranda! The front staff is absolutely amazing as well! Not a long wait time at all. As soon as I walk in, I say hello to the front team and they remember my name after my first visit! That is so awesome! It hard to go anywhere and have them remember you. After letting them know I was here, I take a seat and wait my turn. Like I said, not a long waiting period. When you first see Dr. Miranda, you let him know what's bothering you and then he does a quick assessment by looking at how you naturally stand and walk. He could tell right away what was wrong. I've always had pain and a very embarrassing posture. I had FHP or Forward Head Posture. Dr. Miranda was able to fix that for me. It took time (not something you can correct over night), but I'm able to stand completely straight and not look like I am going to fall over. I am so very grateful to Dr. Miranda and the staff. I love the way I feel after the adjustments and I will definitely be back. Thank you for not just treating me like another patient but as family. Much Mahalos Dr. Miranda! read more

Dr. Miranda is a wonderful chiropractor!!!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Miranda to anyone who is suffering due to neck or back issues specifically. In addition, Dr. Miranda is trained in many different techniques which allow him to adjust the entire body! Not all chiropractors can boast this! He is very thorough, thoughtful and professional. Members of my entire family have seen him and raved about him, including my 6 year old son. I believe there is nothing he can not help people with! He is conveniently located in a very nice office with great customer service all around! Thank you to both Dr. Miranda and his wife for running a great health care business! read more

It was a lifesaver on my vacation. The plane ride killed my back and was bothering me throughout the beginning of my trip. They were able to fit me right in and I felt instant relief. Just go between the Taco Bell and Pizza Hut and the office is behind there). read more

Thank You!! I'm so grateful that I was able to get into see Dr. Miranda. First, it was very refreshing to have someone answe the phone when I called to get an appointment-which was the next day. After an assessment I was adjusted. Made 2 follow up appointments and one drop in appointment (which he helped me out as soon as he could). I'm not good with "down" time from activity- so with his help I was , and am on the mend much quicker! Thank you for helping me get back on the road!! read more

Dr.Miranda was fabulous! I was on vacation when I started having sharp headaches and neck pain. He found the top vertebrae on my neck was out. While I'd been nervous about seeing a chiropractor I didn't know, he did a great job getting my neck back in place, was very gentle and also used ice to get the inflammation down. I felt great afterwards! read more

I have had hip pain for a number of years now, so bad that I thought it was arthritis. After hearing great testimonials about Dr. Philip Miranda, including a recommendation from my massage therapist I went. After the first appt I was walking without pain, even after sitting for a long time. I had better range of motion when I danced Zumba and I can now walk long distances without a problem. I've been pain free for about two months now! Go see Dr. Phil! read more
