The girlfriend and I chose this place for lunch, but we lived to regret it. We were first drawn to this place by the magnificent views that it boasts. We figured we can get some great shots to add to our portfolio. But alas, this was were the charm ended. We got here by travelling up the Torre Latinoamericana via elevator. We had to take the first elevator from the first floor to the 37th. From there, we had to take another elevator up a few more level, then walk up the stairs to where this restaurant sits. The views are not doubt great. A large section of the place has sun shining directly, but we opted for the shade. We were sat next to the window, and we ordered our food before walking around to take shots. I ordered a caesar salad, and filet mignon for the main course. The girlfriend ordered chicken cordon bleu. The wait time was longer than expected, with my main course and salad getting to me before the girlfriend's food. In fact, we had to wave down the waiter multiple times before they finally got around to try and fix the situation. We pretty much shared my plate while we waited for her food. Well... it never came. We told the waiter to remove it from the check, and that we will only pay for the filet mignon. Needless to say, we will never be coming back here again. My order was so-so in taste, and it does not make up for the horrible customer service. If you want to come here to get a drink at the bar and enjoy the view, that would probably be a far better option than eating here. Be forewarned, stay away.

Decided to come here for dinner with a view. Getting here was not easy. Waited in lines to get on two different elevators to get to the restaurant. After 15 mins passed, catching the eyes of several waiters, I decided leave. No one approached to get at least my drink/water order. Decided to enjoy the view at a bar, one floor down, and get dinner elsewhere. Views were phenomenal! Tried the mezcal with crickets, something new.

One of my favorite brunch places in Mexico City! The service, food, and atmosphere are second to none and mimosas to boot. A must stop on a Mexico City foodie tour!

I ordered a filet mignon and they brought it to me well done when I asked for it to be medium. They tried to give me a steak the way I wanted it, but then said they couldn't because they don't have anything except an electric oven. When they were going to re-cook the steak they then came back and told me they were going to charge me for both steaks. I told them I was not going to pay for both steaks and it took a long time before they agreed with me.

You can visit this place to enjoy the view but definitely not the food. As soon as I arrived there was no hostess, I had to wait about 10min to have somebody show me to my table. I ordered one of their signature dishes, Pollo Axolli and it was super dry, bland and just not worth it. Very disappointed that you hear signature dish could be so bad. Now the service, my waiter took my order, brought the food and then disappeared for the rest of the night. I later heard the manager and a server arguing about how to serve the food and how he wanted to take pictures of the dish. It was a definite mood killer. Hopefully they get better because the view would make this place very romantic and spectacular

Right on n the middle of 2 good streets 5 de Mayo and 16 de Septiembre. Food on a scale 1 to 10 I give 7 , nice presentation , chicken Was good but not like something extraordinary. But was fast Service : it was good , waiter was friendly since the beginning Ambiance: it feels relaxing because Eid the AMAZING view to the whole city on floor 41 Will I give another try I will think twice is pricy even when is in pesos .

Other than the view, it's definitely not worth the food. The fee for the observation deck is about 150 pesos and the drinks were a little more than that. We only bought drinks bc the food was just very overpriced and not very yummy. Service is also sadly not good. We waited so long for everything and some of the drinks we ordered weren't well made either. It's nice to take a break at restaurant or sky bar but just be wary of very slow service and overpriced food/drink.

You don't come here for the food. You come here for the view. The restaurant itself is nice enough. The decor is nothing special but the place is clean and well maintained. I had a lovely time here, but the service is horrible. I recommend the tapas espanolas which were very yummy little toasts topped with anchovies, smoked salmon and Serrano ham.

Miralto is on the 41st floor of Terro LatinoAmericana, so the view is 360 and breathtaking--which has earned them one additional star. I only had the Miralto salad but it was very good, as were the homemade rolls and herb butter. Kind, not rushed service, and clear COVID protocols. Minor irritants: salad dressing was homemade but, meh. They need two lines--one for the observation deck (fee) and one for folks only dining. It would cut the line if they use more of the elevators. The table was uneven and rocked the whole time. A little pricey, tourist trap style + VAT tax.

Interesting that this mediocre (but priced as high as the view) restaurant has so few reviews. Come for the view but not the food. Maybe better just buy the 140 peso ticket for the observation deck than deal with the hassle of the service that vacillates between exceedingly over-attentive to entirely absent. The Chairs: omg. The least comfortable I have ever encountered. If you think you're going to relax up here after a day of touring the city, you. are. wrong. Supposedly now during Covid your order is taking about five floors below the restaurant written on a ticket and given to a waiter who then accompanies you up to the restaurant and sit you down the excuse the giving for this is that there is no gas up to the top and so somehow the food needs to be prepared below and somehow this ticket system helps with that... But I think the real reason is to prevent people from coming to the restaurant in order to sneak a peek without really intending to sit down to eat.

Such an amazing rooftop! This restaurant overlooks portions of the historic buildings but I swear you can see to the end of the world, it's so high. The service was spectacular as well as the food. I highly recommend their cocktails, I got the one with espresso and licor 43. They bring it over and shake it in front of you. The prices are very compatible to any upscale restaurant in the area. My fiancé and I went on a Saturday night (we had reservations) and spent about $2,000MXN but we got two water bottles, two cokes, 4 cocktails, one appetizer and 2 entrees. If you come here I highly recommend the duck tacos as an appetizer, they were the best things I have eaten in a long time! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling or just looking for a great view of Mexico City.

While visiting Mexico City my friends and I wanted to see the view from Torre LatinoAmerica. We had heard that purchasing dinner included access to the views (not true) but the view from the restaurant was really nice. (41st floor). The women's bathroom included two walls that were windows with fabulous views of the park and streets below. The bar area, which we didn't patronize, also had a great view. I am focusing on the view because the entrees were really bad. First though, the cheese appetizer ($310 pesos) was good and had a good variety. I don't drink wine, but my friends enjoyed a white wine with dinner. Our waiter was very attentive. We ordered two filet mignons, one steak with pimiento sauce and black rice, the fish and Cornish hen. The filets were white, and they tasted like pork. The fish was so tough it had to be cut with a fork and a lot of strength, and the Cornish hen looked more like a full grown chicken. The steak with black rice was overcooked but it was beef. When we pointed out our disappointment our waiter brought over the head waiter and he listened carefully to our concerns and asked us to fill out a survey describing our experience. He comped us a flambé dessert of crepes, oranges and this amazing ice cream - created table side. It was really delicious. When the bill came we were shocked to see that the head waiter had deeply discounted our meal in an effort to make things right for us. We were so grateful for his attention to our needs. 1 star for food 5 stars for service 3 stars for ambience

Beautiful view along with flavorful foods!! Execution of taste, presentation, and drinks was on point. I had the filet mignon which was seasoned well and cooked a little on the rare side though I asked for medium rare, still enjoyed it very much. Drinks were delicious, Cucumber Martini is a go go go. Lol. Though our overall dinner took a lot longer than expected, wait time for our entrees was around 30 mins, and to wait for the check was another 20. Total time dining for us 2 was approx 2.5 hrs. We didn't mind as much as we normally would if it wasn't for the breath taking view. (That was the loss of star) Our waiter and Floor Manager made the experience very memorable and pleasant. I will definetly be back on my next trip to D.F., Mexico.

Una "sangría" pobremente preparada.

Merkava is a beautiful little restaurant in La Condesa with both indoor and outdoor seating. As mentioned, we were tired from traveling and picked the cool, indoor seating and enjoyed the nice decor. We started with hummus and, not realizing it came with pita, also ordered the house bread. The hummus was a huge portion, enough to feed a group of 7-8 and came with a pouch of several warm pitas. The hummus was homemade and a bit chunky. The house bread was even better, coils of bread with tahini butter, serrano chili oil, and a tomato cumin sauce. The bread was fantastic, warm from being freshly baked and with buttery layers and the variety of dipping sauces was pleasant for dipping. A show-stopper of a dish was the whole roasted cauliflower served with zaatar, yogurt, and mint. Our head was cut into manageable portions for us, but interestingly, they served the adjacent table with a whole head for a more dramatic presentation. The cauliflower was tender and its mild flavor was enhanced by the zaatar spices. The fish of the day was the better of the two entrees. We liked the sauteed vegetables with lentils that it was served with, much like a ratatouille with lentils, along with a parsley sauce and grilled lemon. The wagyu kebabs were an odd texture, crumbled and dry. The restaurant provided a complimentary bite of dessert, a fruit (date, apricot) baklava of sorts that was a sweet bite to end the meal. All in all, we had a good meal at Merkava.

Started the meal with a romaine salad, to which I asked to add a side of grilled chicken. The chicken was grilled to a wonderful golden point, and the seasoning of the salad went along perfectly with the almonds on it. The crispy pork (Lechón lechal) was sublimely tender. In fact, the cubes were perfectly crisped, and yet the meat broke down like silk when cut. The complement of the red wine soaked pear, the sweet potato purée, and the dried fruits made this a light and satisfying meal, bite after bite! I had a seriously hard time trying to pick a dessert from so many great choices! Ultimately I went for the pistachio cake with passion fruit sauce, because by then I already trusted that every offering in this place is thoughtfully put together, and I wanted to try out something less pedestrian than a chocolate cake Finally, as if I hadn't been convinced this place was superb, towards the end of the meal, a chef committee review was held in a corner of the dining area. The comments by the judges were just as complimentary as my own... and I wasn't disappointed. The flavor composition was superb! Combining the cake with the mango ice sorbet made for a rich and refreshing flavor! The roasted nuts gave an extra crunch to some forkfuls, adding variety to an already succulent and creative end of meal! Without a doubt a great place to enjoy a superb meal!

We took Beef Tartar for appetizer. It looked like they have it in France except for it was served with hard toasts instead of hot fries. And tasted more like a fish tartar, what I mean is that they marinated the meat with too much of lemon juice and other ingredients that go better for the fish dishes and covered the flavor of the meat here. I'd put more olive oil, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and an egg yolk, no any lemon at all. Paella with all peeled seafood was delicious. Good amount of shrimps, fish, mussels, clams and even octopus -all fresh and soft. I think they used not Arborio rice, but it looked like Jasmin rice to me. And added roasted bell peppers gave more aromas to the dish. Filet with a Roquefort sauce was tender and mild, delicate flavor, cooked to our liking - rare. It was served with grilled vegetables. They have a lot of traditional Spanish tapas, such as Pulpo a la gallega (octopus), calamari, manchego cheese, jamon, fuet etc. As well as Mediterranean style main courses: pastas, paellas, fish, seafood, poultry and meat. All that we ordered was savory, sapid and yummy. Desserts were on a tray in display. Among rice pudding, Crème Brule, chocolate tart etc - we chose traditional cheese cake. It was very appetizing.
