The appointment was reconfirmed by the owner on Thursday, 2 days prior to the cleaning scheduled for Saturday. I was specifically asked to ensure that no other workers were in the house while their team was cleaning, and we rearranged our schedule and coordinated everything accordingly as best as we could. At 5 PM on Friday--the evening before the scheduled cleaning--the owner called to cancel, saying there was an unspecified issue with her team. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I had been texting with the owner at 3 PM that same afternoon discussing which part of the house the cleaners would start with. At no point did she mention that there was an issue or even suggest that the appointment might be cancelled. I was told they could not accommodate us this Sunday or Monday either, despite the fact that we are moving in Tuesday. Her suggestion was essentially that she would "do her best" to send options if she came across any-- she didn't have another company she could personally recommend. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. What I find unacceptable is the lack of notice, lack of contingency planning, and lack of genuine concern for the significant inconvenience caused to the customer. Canceling a confirmed move-in cleaning less than 24 hours beforehand leaves a customer scrambling at the worst possible time. If you are relying on a company for a time-sensitive cleaning, this one will not deliver.

The job turned out to be bigger than I thought, but she was very professional, had positive sunny attitude even when we discovered dog poop smeared on a wall (this tenant was an absolute sociopath), very fast, and most important, thorough. Gabriela even pointed out a few things around the house that I, as a new home owner, would have missed -- a small mold patch, a slow drip in the fridge, the proper way to pour drano -- service that went above and beyond what I expected. We messaged and he asked a few simple questions and provided his rates. Nick is very responsive snd clear with his information which made this easy. My appointment was made an on the day of, he arrived promptly. He was kind enough to respect my 'no shoes in house' policy, I did see him switch to an indoor slipper. It took about 2 hours but he did an amazing job cleaning my sofa. I had recently moved, and it got extra dirty from the moving trucks and things rubbing against it. While Nick was here I did ask if he had time and could also clean a recliner/ day bed, and he agreed.(this was not part of my original service request). The areas cleaned were cleaned well and we were able to have the same person come in repeatedly without issue. There is an initial cleaning fee after which the cleans become a standard rate which is understandable.
