I am not a fan of taking over the counter meds or any type of meds for pain & etc. I have always preferred the holistic route but I had never had acupuncture or cupping done but have heard of its healing benefits and figured i'd give it a try since yoga & the chiropractor were not solving all of my problems. As soon as I walked in, I felt welcomed and the energy was very positive in there. It was also very clean everywhere in there. Both women (lady behind the desk & acupuncturist) were also very very sweet. As soon as I got taken to the room where I was going to be treated, doctor listened to my concerns and needs and was doing any and everything to make me feel comfortable and accommodated. She even went the extra mile to bring me extra pillows & play relaxing music so that I would feel more comfortable and peaceful. She was very gentle with me & always made sure that I felt comfortable throughout my procedure. I left out of there feeling so relaxed and the tension in my body eased. I have not had any back pain and scheduled an appointment to go right back the next week (this week.) I am so excited for my appointment and sad that I am moving out of Ohio because I will definitely miss this office! If you have been seeking healing for any of your concerns, whether they be mental or physical, I definitely recommend trying acupuncture. And, if you live near the area, most definitely recommend this Dr's office out. You won't regret seeing her!

I am impressed by the doctors' willingness to talk through my issues and apply the right treatments during my sessions. My energy has been boosted, my chronic 60yr old knee pain has gone and I like having knees that are decades younger. My lower back aches have also diminished drastically and my flexibility is improving. I believe that even without any ailments, that I will try to proceed with acupuncture as a form of preventative health management, that I will integrate with regular stretching and other wellness activities. I highly recommend Integra. If you're on the fence about "needles", I would say to at least try it out. The needles are a lot thinner and you can barely feel them.

I have been a regular ever since and can't say enough about the high level of care I receive at both the Westerville and Clintonville offices. The practitioners are experienced and kind. They've been able to make this needle-phobe quite comfortable with the process. Improvement did not happen overnight. It was slow and steady, with a hiccup every now and then. But being able to live the active lifestyle to which I am accustomed during my senior years means a great deal and the good folks at UAC have made that possible. I first heard of Urban Acupuncture and about acupuncture back in 2016. I was suffering from what I…read morethought was sciatica and didn't get relief from PT, massage, exercise or tens unit stimulation. Given the relatively low price (compared to massage or private acupuncture - I had to give it a try. The treatment itself (applying the pins) doesn't hurt at all. And what I absolutely love is the relaxing environment - plush, huge leather recliners; dim lighting; soft music; and a feeling of safety and wellness. I worked right by here and would come over lunch. It was heaven. Unfortunately, it didn't help and the office moved downtown. I don't really live by this or the other location so I stopped treatment. Skip forward - after an MRI gave me the real diagnosis (hamstring) - and too much yoga (if there is such a thing) has kicked my pain into high gear, I decided to start up treatment again - if nothing else as part of my self care. Well-being treatment. The technician I see at this location is the same. But now I also visit the other location - depending on what is available on the schedule. Both are great places with equally soothing treatment rooms and skilled staff. I'm actually headed there now for my weekly treatment. And goodness - while progress is not fast or great, it is helping. And I love the 30-40 minutes of heaven I get. I highly recommend you try it!!

I am completely in LOVE with :::: Buckeye Acupuncture::::::: and beyong grateful that I found them! ~~~Dr Hong and Vickie ~~~ are the very BEST when it comes to being EXPERTS in this field! (Just for the record, I am NOT one to go to a doctor... ( at all!), nor do I like needles -of any kind. ) In fact, if it wasnt for their gentle, welcoming and pure kind hearted-ness, I probably would NOT of come back , (as this is my first experience with acupuncture.) This power couple REALLY make me feel and know that: ~ I am at the right place ~ ~and in the best hands EVER! ~ Plus, the results of Dr Hong's sessions are ((( mind blowing! ))) Not only do they ab-soul-utely know what they are doing, but you can tell they truly and wholeheartedly **CARE** about you as their patient. First of all, Vickie is the ~~ HOSTEST with the MOSTEST ! ~~ When I walk into their office, Vickie's presence and overall angelic personality is soo inviting! She genuinely makes me feel like I am a long time family friend :) each and every time I visit. She greets me at the door, checks the temperature of the room for me (adds or takes away the heaters), turns down the lighting, offers me hot tea as I leave, always has good advice on all kinds of Chinese medicine practices that are very helpful , and is super duper beyond accommodating when it comes to flexibility and patience with scheduling! What to expect: Before each weekly session, they always check in to see what is going on with the patient, and then alter the treatment to meet his or her needs accordingly. Once settled, the session begins with cupping- which is super relaxing and puts the patient in the meditative vibrational state for the next step of healing with the needles to occur... Dr Hong takes his time and does needles on the patient's back for the first session, and then on the patients front for the second. He is thorough and takes his time for accuracy and precision. He is gentle, and extremely knowledgable and intuitive. Over the past 4 -5 months, Dr Hong and Vickie healed both my knees from being injured, helped with my neck , back and hamstring tightness and stress, revamped my entire digestive system, stopped my nose/ sinus / allergy issues, helped with joint issues in my hands, reduced my hot flashes, helped re-align my nervous system for waaaay better sleep , less anxiety, and overall peace and wellness within. I am forever grateful! Thank you, Dr Hong and Vickie I cant wait to see you both again this week! O:o) Come to BUCKEYE ACUPUNCTURE! You deserve it! Love, Meghan
