There are two glaring issues at this Nero and others. First, the internet is open and unsecured. Not a huge issue usually, but Nero's settings don't let you use a VPN to secure your connection. WHY!? This is a huge security hole. Second, and this is common over most Neros, is that the music is too loud and they don't play good cafe music, it's a poor music choice for a cafe. These two problems usually make me choose somewhere else over Nero usually, which is a shame, because I like them otherwise.

There are a few tables in the main floor and a few more on the upper level. It's a very cozy, inviting space. The coffee was wonderful. My husband had avocado toast (bread, egg salad, lots is sliced avocado, lettuce, thinly sliced cucumber, chili peppers and black sesame seeds). It was delicious! You can purchase their crispy bread in the shop downstairs. Prices are in line with what you'll find in similar places in Warsaw. Quite a few yelpers here complain about the quality of service, in particular the waiting time. Personally, I have not experienced any of that. The waiters seem friendly, but the place gets pretty crowded at times so this might be the reason. In any case, especially if you plan to visit on an early Sunday afternoon, you might want to make a reservation.

At this hour of the day, the selection of bread and pastries was rather limited (which is understandable) so I tried the "pain au chocolat", croissant, and regular "baguette". The "pain au chocolat" and "croissant" were both good although they could have used a little more butter in their preparation. On the other hand, I was disappointed by the "baguette": it lacked sponginess and felt dry. You might argue that this is due to the fact that it wasn't bought fresh out of the oven in the morning. But anyways, a good "baguette" should still be good at 4 p.m. and is usually still OK the next morning. I don't think I'll be going back for their famed "baguette" as there are other bakeries/shops (e.g. SAM) where you can get good bread in Warsaw. All of these undoubtedly won't be using flour imported straight from the Fouché mills in France but seriously, who cares ? (Nice marketing though)
