YOU ARE SEEN ON TIME! I have only been going for a few months, but my last doctor's office (I will…read morenot mention names) never. ever. kept. an. appointment. I would come in 15 minutes early and sit there for upwards of 45 minutes before going to a room and then sit in the room for another 30 minutes. Here - they must be scheduling wizards because on the three visits I have had, I was checked in, sat for about a minute (ok, maybe 5... maybe) and was then seen by the assistant and then within minutes the physician. An appointment that would have taken my close to two hours previously was like 20 minutes. I LOVE THAT. Not only that, everyone, from the front receptionist to Dr. Sobhani was courteous, attentive and helpful. Top-notch medical care, efficiently... isn't that what we all want?

I feel truly blessed to have found a doctor who leads with such humanity. His staff is just as wonderful--especially Lily, who is always kind, respectful, and incredibly supportive, both in person and over the phone. I've already referred Dr. Mazhari to my family, and he is now their trusted doctor too. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for genuine, caring, and exceptional care.

This visit left me deeply upset and confused. I came in due to elevated CK levels that have persisted since April. I explained my concerns to Dr. Sarza, and rather than feeling heard, I was met with hostility and accusations. She stated that high CK levels were not a concern and that I should "look into genetics." When I asked whether prolonged elevation could still be an issue given my muscle injury and hydration challenges, she appeared dismissive and confrontational. During our discussion, she asked if I was a nurse -- which seemed unrelated and made me uncomfortable. When I briefly checked the time on my phone while lying on the exam bed, she came closer and twice asked if I was recording her. This behavior felt invasive and accusatory. I told her I did not feel comfortable with how she was speaking to me, as her tone was aggressive and unprofessional. She then claimed that I was being rude and talking over her, which I strongly disagree with. I was only trying to understand the next steps regarding my CK levels. She then abruptly stated she would no longer treat me and that I should find another provider. She left the room while I was still on an IV, shouted to staff that she was "doing a C.I.," and did not provide me with discharge instructions. I was left alone, uncertain of what to do next, and felt humiliated. My wife and I have always had great experiences at this Patient First location, which is why we have trusted your care. This experience, however, was deeply distressing and has caused me to question my safety and the professionalism of the care I received. I usually have great experiences at the Patient First on W Broad Street, but my visit with Dr. Mirala Sarza was deeply disappointing. I was left on an IV after she refused to continue care and did not received discharge instructions initially but instead was told I could go. I felt disrespected, unsafe, and unheard. I truly hope Patient First reviews this situation so other patients don't go through what I experienced

INOVA really needs to improve its billing process. I never received a bill for either of my two visits. During my first visit, they actually mistook me for another person with the same name, which should have been a red flag from the start. I only found out that I had an outstanding bill because my insurance company told me they could only cover part of the cost, so I reached out to the billing help desk. I thought I had gotten everything sorted out and provided my address so they could send me the bill, but once again, I NEVER received anything. I followed up twice before finally being told that the account had been sent to collections. They have since reversed the collections status after I explained their incompetence and the fact that I never received a bill. But who knows how long it was in collections or whether it affected my credit score in the process! I am incredibly disappointed that I had to chase them down just to pay for care. I finally received a link to pay the bill and immediately did so, which I intended to do all along. It should not be this difficult to send someone a bill by mail or email. I should not have to worry about being penalized for a billing process that was completely out of my control.

It was about 7:55, so I left my sick 9 year old in the car (just a few feet away) with his teenage sister, and I ran in to see if they could still see him because it was so close to the closing time. They told me yes, so I said, ok, let me run and get my son from the car. When we walked in 1 or 2 minutes later, the receptionist said : Oh, we can't see you now because it is 8:02, and the system won't let me enter you in now because it is after 8? WHAT???? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT 4 MINUTES AGO! SO FRUSTRATING. Then this morning we sat waiting outside for this urgent care to open. The door was still locked at 8:08 with no receptionist inside, although the lights were on. When I scanned the bar code on the door around 7:45 when I first arrived (to set an appointment), the earliest time to choose was 8:30. Why advertise you open at 8 when you actually don't open until later. I went down the street to Premiere urgent care and I won't be back to this inova location.

I tried giving this place a couple chances as with the pandemic everyone has been effected so we have to be lenient, but I have officially hit my end point. My results were not delivered to me but another family member which was really irresponsibly as per HIPPA. Due to that wrong information was not passed back to me. I didn't find this out till months later when needing results for work and going on the lab website to retrieve them. Another is that one of my relatives who has trouble with technology had asked me to help them on retrieving their results as well. However, when inputting their name no results were found! It's been over 2 months past the appointment in which they had gone to the lab to get test done!! So then we tried called the office to ask what was going on and they just told us that it was our own responsibility to figure out the test and call it in ourselves?? How great, you write the order but can't help us retrieving it. Well thanks for nothing. I was actually able to retrieve the results after going through papers that were kept after each appointment/ order. Thank goodness these papers were saved! And the reason to why we couldn't find the result? The name was incorrect! How is the name incorrect?? They have done test here prior and received results, but this time and this test just happened to be a different name when there was no chance in the name of the ID given or the insurance card? Anyway, thanks for the past care that we received here. We will not be coming back.
