Scheduled an appointment to come in on a Saturday morning 10:10 am. We showed up checked in, said her first name initial and first 3 letters of her last name on the screen for appointments. Then another lady arrives, an elderly Caucasian woman, and after she checks in she is on the screen as "on the waitlist" the staff member comes out and tells the woman it may be a long wait as people Ont he waitlist are awaiting appointments to be cancelled. They argued for what seemed to be a very long time and then it seems as if the staff member (a real nurse Jackie lookalike) takes her in the room. Then, I noticed our name was no longer on the appointment list. That our name had been moved to the waitlist. The staff member comes out and starts trying to give us her explanation and we show her our confirmation email but just replies that the system sometimes bumps people. Then she tells my wife to go to a "Mexican part of town" for an urgent care if she is in such pain as she claims. Honestly I didn't want treatment from this lady clearly on some sort of strong medication herself. Probably not legal medication either. But the audacity and nerve of this employee to treat us this way was sickening. We didn't come with the intention of worse health, but we left this place feeling even more sick than when we came. Waste of time, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for treatment. Unless you fit the mold of the master race. read more

Saw online that they take walk-ins on weekends and that they'd be open until 5:30. Got there around 4:30. On the big screen there was a posting that the provider was "on a break" from 4:20-5:30. Gee, I wish I could take off work an hour early whenever I feel like it. I understand a break in the middle of the day but to mess with posted hours... that's really not cool. read more

I needed to get a TB test. I checked CVS's website to make an appointment, and it didn't want to let me. Fine. I walk-in at 11:30am, check in at the kiosk, and it says I'll be seen in about 20 minutes. There's only one worker there. I waited for 115 MINUTES before I was seen. I was like "damn, I guess I should never walk in, good thing I have an actual appointment to pick up my TB test results." I went back three days later to pick up my test, with an ACTUAL appointment at 11am. I waited for 100 MINUTES before I was seen. And there were walk-ins being called before me. And a few fed up people would shove their way to the front to be seen earlier. This CVS's kiosk system might as well not exist. It's a free-for-fall and whoever barges their way to the front gets treatment first. If you plan on going to this CVS, schedule your appointment, and then show up an hour and a half later, and you'll probably still be early. read more

Inconsiderate. I've gone to two appointments and no one is there. Imagine going to a Dr's appointment and hoping they'll actually show up for your appointment....the nerve... If you ask the pharmacy or anyone working at CVS, they'll tell you; to call the phone number on the Minute Clinic wall, that CVS stores and Minute Clinics have nothing to do with each other and they have no way of contacting them, they'll also tell you Minute Clinic staff routinely fail to show up or just leave and patients are consistently showing up to an empty and un-staffed Minute Clinic. And good luck getting anyone at the Minute Clinic phone number to answer. Good grief! read more

The good: both NP's were very good. Friendly and knowledgeable. The first appt was not pleasant and really didn't clear the ear which is what I went in for. Had a concert less than a week from the appt and I couldn't hear. Second appt NP confirmed the ear was clear but inflamed perhaps from the earlier procedure.", prescribed an antibiotic, week or so later hearing restored. The bad: appts we're in June, yesterday I received a bill for services saying declined by insurance. I call and just as I suspected despite the fact I 100% provided all insurance (I have a primary and secondary insurance) Minute clinic had erroneously submitted the claim to my secondary insurance. Now I wait and it's nearly 6 months later so I'm angry this hasn't been resolved and I just heard about it yesterday. read more

This place is a joke. It's just hilarious and absolutely embarrassing how these NPs can even have their license. They can't even read the most basic TB screening test. We got a Mantoux test and the NP told my husband that his result was positive when it was clear as day it was negative. They would know if they were properly educated. It's just embarrassing how they can't seem to figure out how to even assess the most basic test. You knuckleheads....YOU FEEL FOR A BUMP. There was absolutely no bump whatsoever. Not even 1mm. If you didn't know the criteria, it needed to be at least 10mm AKA 1 cm. Moral of the story. I don't recommend coming here since these "NPs" have absolutely no idea what they are doing. read more

How much did this entire process suck? I get diagnosed with covid this morning at a local clinic and barely make it home to Burbank. I got home until a colleague of mine and they tell me that I should go get the treatment pill from urgent care. I go to the b CVS website to try to sign up for a telemedicine appointment so that I can just get someone to look at my test results and write me a prescription for the five-day supply to address my symptoms. I log into the CVS app and set up a MyHealth account (or whatever tf it's called) and spend 30 minutes trying to simply reserve a telemedicine appointment. Finally I call customer service you try the same thing over the course of a 20-minute phone call and they can't figure it out either until they realize that I need to actually go in for a physical test and then see the same doctor about getting the treatment prescribed. The website, of course, does not prompt anyone with this information so you're just continuously clicking the same f button over and over again with the page reloading. So I go online to make an appointment because that's the only way you can do it at the f Minute Clinic, and the one somewhat near me in Burbank that I still have to catch an Uber to. I load in all of my information to reserve an appointment because it shows online before I leave the house at 5:10 that their appointments at 5:50,6:00, and 6:10. BUT after I load all of my information into the web page to reserve the appointment, it won't let me submit the information and just simply doesn't have a button on the bottom of the page. So I feel miserable and I'm just like "f it" it looks like there's three appointments before they close at 7:00 let me still head out there for a $15 Uber ride and sign up for an appointment on the spot. I get out here to sign up for an appointment on the spot and, of course, once I get here there are no appointments available tonight. Now there is a long list of people who have not arrived yet, at least 10 deep, but from talking to the nurses or receptionists or whatever they were, "those people are all going to get here." In Los Angeles / Burbank. In the next hour. During rush hour. Riiiiiight. "Hi I know I'm covid positive and there WERE appointments for before closing, but I don't even need the test, I just want to get the treatment pill..." "Ohhh, the pill? That's like a 30 minute process and we don't have any appointments left tonight." We are past peak pandemic; the website for these places suck, the services are cumbersome and redundant (I have proof of a COVID test from THIS morning but I have to get another one from here to just get the meds. Useless. Don't bother. Find a real urgent care and don't go to this McMedicine Drive Thru. Now excuse me while I take an Uber back home from this waste of time and the dwindling energy I've got. read more

Alan is absolutely the best! I had to get a TDap vaccine when my baby was born. I didn't want to have to make a doctor appointment, and have to wait weeks just to get a shot so I decided to try a minute clinic. Well, this minute clinic isn't the closest one to my house, so I went there first but found out even though the app/storefront/phone menu are all plastered with "walk ins welcome" that isn't actually true. I'll write a review about the other minute clinic, but needless to say I couldn't be seen there so had to come to this location in Burbank. Well, needless to say, I'm glad I did. Super quick service, very professional and helpful. They even billed my insurance so I didn't have to pay out of pocket at the time. Even for this location I would say that "walk ins welcome" is kind of a lie (hence the 4 stars). But you can schedule an appointment online, but once theyre booked, they're booked. Which kind of defeats the purpose of a walk-in clinic if you ask me. But Alan was the absolute best. Super cool guy, Super professional, and great at his job. "Fastest shot in the West." read more

For Covid Testing: You need signs out front and inside the store telling people where this minuteclinic Covid testing site is. There is no information given at any point that it is off of a separate driveway/parking lot off Hollywood way, behind the CVS. It is totally invisible if coming from Verdugo and the main parking lot. You should know that people scheduled from the CVS website are only told to "go to the parking lot and look for the signs." There were no signs in the parking lot or inside or outside the store, and I got scolded for going inside the store and asking where I was supposed to go. The store clerk then gave unclear directions and I ended up "behind the building," on the wrong side, and in a construction zone/storage area. It wasn't even clear if this would be a drive-through or a walk-up test site and it turned out to be neither. You park and they walk out to you. Meanwhile I got a got call from a random Rhode Island phone number. You cannot expect people will take a call from an unknown, out of state number, in the minutes before their test, especially if they're busy trying to find the test location. You cannot seriously expect people to know that an out-of-state number would be someone from this specific Burbank CVS. I have never had a test site call me up five minutes beforehand in my prior six Covid tests, and most unknown random out of state numbers calling me are robocalls. You also shouldn't mislead people about "faster" results *if* they consent to an additional, unexpected, and unasked for exam by a "practitioner." I've had numerous Covid tests at this point, including through CVS, and was expecting the usual simple experience. If you offer doctors visits here, that's fine, but don't try to pressure me into something additional and unnecessary by basically bribing me with quicker results. If someone signed up for a "rapid results" test, that is what they should be getting, regardless of offering an exam (presumably so cvs can make more money billing our insurance?). If all these things happen and the patient then appears "rude," maybe consider what the normal Covid test experience is vs. what you are offering; instead of proceeding to have a loud conversation with coworkers talking crap about that patient who is waiting for their test, very much able to hear every word you're saying, including about "how rude ALL the people in Burbank" are. I had a horrible sore throat for two days & decided to go to MinuteClinic because I'm in the middle of transitioning through difference insurances. I made an appointment online & waited 40 minutes. I was waiting outside the doors and saw patients who were inside being seen by the nurse practitioner were done. The nurse practitioner walked out & looked like he was leaving. I asked when I would be seen & he asked if I had an appointment because I wasn't on the list. He took me in after that. I ended up waiting for a while for no reason. I'm giving a four stars because for immediate help it is a reasonable price and you can for sure see someone. Sure, it's almost $200 for a visit with medications but I ended up having strep throat and was just glad to have immediate care. Go here in case of minor emergencies & need to be seen ASAP! You'd probably be waiting longer in urgent care too. read more

So I thought I had an ear infection and didn't feel like waiting until Monday. I went to the clinic and waited and got checked out. I was told that I didn't have an infection but was inflamed. She went ahead and had me buy a bunch of over the counter meds and gave me an rx and told if I wasn't better by Wednesday to fill it. I didn't want to take antibiotics unless I needed to so I didn't fill it. Today I went to my doctor as I was up all night with ear pain. Turns out I have a pretty bad infection. So I called Minute Clinic and asked for a refund if my $130. They wouldn't do it. They said she diagnosed an Infection and that I could have filled that rx. So lesson learned. I would stick with real doctors or nurse practitioners and forget the fast food types. I will not be using Minute Clinic anymore. I'll go the eastern medicine doctor way before that. read more

I had gotten my flu shot here last year and it was a great experience (aside from the fact that they somehow messed up the billing and I had to fight my insurance company when a flu shot is included). So when I was feeling sick for a week and then needed a prescription for a previously diagnosed ailment, I thought I'd try them again.... Big mistake. The "doctor" was rude and short with me. He didn't hide his shock about my weight, which shouldn't have been difficult behind a mask. I'm guessing he's a bad poker player. I gave him my medical history and he didn't believe me. Apparently he knew better than all those tests I ran at a cardiologist's office. He didn't believe I needed the prescription I came in for, but couldn't tell me what was actually wrong with me. Then he gave me the script anyway. And I'm just wondering did he give up or not want to admit he was wrong? Finally, when I tried to ask him if me being sick all week was related to my recurring ailment, he told me to go back outside and sign up again. So make sure you make two appointments if you have two symptoms??? The only reason this is not a one-star experience is that the RN who took my stats and had given me my flu shot previously is really nice. read more

I decided I needed to head to an urgent care since I couldn't shake off this laryngitis that took over my voice this past weekend. Now I know how Ariel felt when Ursula took her beautiful pipe away lol. A friend had mentioned to me that she had gone to the Cvs minute clinic when she broke out in a rash and she was seen right away and given meds immediately....which is the main reason why you go to urgent care.. right?? To get a cocktail of meds that will help you feel better? She also mentioned that you could sign onto the CVS website and waitlist yourself to see a nurse practitioner even before getting to the minute clinic. For some reason , the cvs website didn't allow me to waitlist myself, but it did advise that my wait time would be approximately 36 minutes. When I arrived at CVS and headed to the back, I was expecting a room full of sniffing noses and kids hacking away, but it was far from it. They have this very high tech way of checking in via a kiosk. They ask for all your details. Aside from the screen not recognizing my finger touch every now and then.. the experience was painless. They also tell you where you are at in the waiting list. I was the next one in line so I sat down in one of the four or five chairs that they have against the wall. I was literally called in minutes. I was pleasantly surprised. Remember these are nurse practitioners and they are not physicians. I would only come here if you have minor issues and even with minor issues, I would follow up with your primary physician. The asian nurse practitioner, Joyce, was ok. She wasn't too friendly, but very respectful and effective. She was a very "matter of fact" and let me go on my merry way. Of course she prescribed me my cocktail and my meds were ready for pick up in two shakes of a lambs tail. I was in and out in about thirty five minutes!! I was impressed. I'm assuming that the minute clinic Gods were watching over me because the reviews of this clinic haven't been the most stellar. All in all, CVS minute clinic did its job and in record breaking time! Would I come back if I was feeling under the weather again? ... probably! It's close to work and they stay true to their name... 35 minutes to be exact! I'm feeling better by the way :) read more

I rated this one star because I couldn't leave less. This place is staffed by the most unprofessional, incompetent staff that I have ever experienced. The appointment and check-in went as planned. I cannot complain about this. However, once I was called into the examine room, everything went downhill from there. I still don't know the name or position of the guy who called me in. He wore a mask and sat down at his desktop. I am not sick. I have high blood pressure and need a refill for my prescription, since I am from out of town. My doctor asked me to have my blood pressure checked and have it refilled at an urgent care facility. I explained the situation, and he began to research in his computer and phone. I had to write down the name of the medication and he seemed unfamiliar, since he didn't know how to spell it. It is one of the most prescribed medications for high pressure around. He sat there staring at the computer and finally said "Oh, it's a calcium channel blocker." He then asked me why I was taking it. I have high blood pressure, and this was told to him from the very beginning!!! I then asked how much this appointment was going to cost since I was a self-pay. He said that he would give me a range, but couldn't refill both prescriptions (they both are the same medication just different dosages since I take 90mg daily). I then asked when I would know how much he would charge me and he said "only at the end, and we are only at the beginning." I had already been in the room for 35 minutes with no progress. I couldn't take another minute and left the room. I wasn't examined, I wasn't going to receive my refill for what I needed, and I WAS NOT HAPPY!!! I really feel as though this was his first day on the job, and he was not all prepared. Shame on you CVS for not having competent providers on your staff. read more

Ok, so I'm ashamed to say that I don't have health insurance (living the freelance life) so I'm left to going to State Clinics in the ghettos and other places where I have to wait in line at 5AM to see a doctor who has been handling who knows what.... but here, a breath of fresh air. The people here are very friendly and know their stuff. And what's nice is that they can give prescriptions and give diagnosis to what ailment you may have, but if the problem is too big then they will definitely send you to a hospital, they sent me away because I had a 3rd degree burn, but for the diagnosis they told me what to do till I see the doctor. It's convenient and the hours aren't bad 10A - 6:30P. So if you're like me and the rest of the uninsured then stop here, but I think you need to have ID and all of that sort to be seen and I don't think they have a way to file your info. I love how fast and easy it is to utilize Minute Clinic. With my insurance, my visit was completely free and my prescriptions were super cheap. They are knowledgable, and they will help you get the medication that you need in order to cure whatever ailment you have. Definitely more cost effective and fast than going to the doctor or the ER. You are in and out in a flash and have the convenience of using the CVS pharmacy no more than five steps away. I definitely recommend visiting this Minute Clinic! read more

Made an appointment online. They ask you to come in 15min early, showed up as prompted. Still waited an hour to see the nurse. Had a simple physical/wellness form that needed to be completed. Was told they can't do it. Asked for explanation, nurse passed the blame on the doctor in the other room. I was excused and told "good luck". Went to Conecentra just up the street, walked in with no appointment. Waited far less time and got my physical administered by helpful individuals, for less money, too. The whole thing is extra frustrating because the minute clinic had no problem helping me with the exact same paper work, last year. Will never go back. read more

I arrived at the Minute Clinic at 10:30 this morning and even though there were two names on the list ahead of me I only had to wait a little more than 20 minutes to see the nurse. The clinic room was tidy and spotless and the nurse was kind and efficient. I had my prescription and was back home inside of an hour. They're also open on holidays and weekends. What a sweet secret! Came in Wednesday for a quick TB skin test. There was a 4 hour wait so I signed in and left....came back 2 hours later just after the lunch break and was whisked in and taken care of quickly and professionally. The nurse was pleasant and told me that on my return trip to get the reading I had to sign in but wouldn't need to wait....whoever was here would take me between other patients. I write this review 2 days later after check in for my test reading. I was just informed rather rudely by todays nurse that this was not how she worked and that there were people who had been waiting and would be seen first!!! Normally I'd be okay with this BUT after having been told differently at my initial appointment I'm a bit beyond pissed! I can't blame this on a misunderstanding on my part either because there was another lady ahead of me with the very same story!!! What makes matters even worse is that this nurse has a sweet "Hi my name is Mary" into in a sugary sweet voice....but I've already heard her rudeness and the "I don't care" attitude....I'd give her some return attitude but am afraid she'll give me a bad test result. I've now been to this clinic three times. The first 2 were for a TB test & reading, which were quick, painless and reasonably priced. This week I decided to get checked out for a bad cold that would not end (going on 3 weeks now). There was no line, so I was seen right away. The nurse, Joyce, was friendly and thorough with her questions. She diagnosed me with bronchitis. She gave me prescriptions for antibiotics, cold medicine with codine to sleep & and inhaler for my really bad cough fits. As I was resting at home today (2 days after visiting the clinic), the phone rang. It was Joyce from Minute Clinic calling to see how I was doing. As I fell into a bad cough fit, she recommended an over-the counter remedy & advised me to go to the emergency room if it gets worse. I still can't believe she called to check on me. How nice is that? My regular doctors don't even do that! I highly recommend this clinic for its simplicity, care taken during the diagnosis and amazing follow up. As an FYI, I went to the Montrose location first, but the line was long & they were not accepting more patients (they close at 6:30). This Burbank location is open later (until 7:30). read more

SUPER COOL! I had to get immunizations quick for an internship program I am starting so I looked online and found clinics through Walgreena and CVS. Walgreens doesn't serve in CA but CVS does and they have one right here in Burbank! AWESOME! I looked online at the list of services they provide and it's quite EXTENSIVE!! It's a walk in clinic so I happened to be the only person on the wait list! You also sign in through the kiosk in front so you don't have to deal with a pissed off receptionist. Once you fill everything out and sign in, you are automatically on the queue and just wait your turn! If you live nearby and have a regular health-related issue (fever, sore throat, whatever), then maybe head on over to the Minute Clinic, sort of a mini urgent care clinic. For simple things that you know are simple, it's probably worth it at 80 bucks. Note, the more complicated issues aren't going to be solved here because there's NO DOCTOR, just a nurse practitioner. She's able to do a lot, but not everything. That being said, she was fairly nice, and the process was EXTREMELY painless and fast. I just walked in, punched my info into the little kiosk-y thing, and within 3 minutes, I was in the office already having my blood pressure taken. Turns out I had bronchitis and was prescribed medicine which I super conveniently got at the pharmacy a few steps away (literally). I'd go here again for a common ailment, as it's pretty close to my casa. read more

There is only one word for this service and that is SCAM! Avoid this place at all cost. They are not real doctors and have no intention of treating you without taking every last dime you have on you AND THEY SELL YOUR EMAIL so if you insist on visiting one, give a fake email on sign in. I have had over 20 medical spam a day since my visit. The service costs $79 for a basic visit but this is all smoke and mirrors. What their real intention is, is to refuse to give you any medicine unless they can perform a series of insanely expensive test. I had a chest infection and needed antibiotics. I have had this twice before, it's just something I am susceptible too. I went to the minute clinic, signed in and waited. The doctor who was rude with no bedside manner did not look at my throat or into my ears but insisted if I wanted antibiotics I was going to need a $150 test, yes on top of my $79 to get a very basic issue treated. The female 'doctor' or snake oil salesman said she had to do the test to ensure it was a chest infection... as opposed to aids? In the past real doctors have asked my symptoms, checked my throat, ears and asked about history of illness... each time I have have been prescribed antibiotics and all better in a few days. At this 'clinic' they are just trying to take as much money out of you as possible. They do not care about treating patients with what is actually needed. I refused to pay any of the money and walked out without my antibiotics, I went to the online doctor Plush Care and it was awesome. read more

The lab did not get the confirmation that I was self-pay which covered the lab cost. The CVS Minute Clinic was quick to respond to my complaint, reviewed my file and resolved my issue. read more

I'm glad I waited to review this place, as I was entirely impressed with it immediately after my visit. There was no line. I was seen and examined instantly by two very pleasant people and within 45 minutes had all the prescriptions I needed. Or so I thought. That was five days ago. I'm no better now than I was when I went in. In fact, I might say I'm worse. 2 of the 3 prescriptions I got are entirely useless. She was looking up stuff on her computer and prescribing me everything that matched the symptoms I was having. I was most definitely misdiagnosed. Someone called me a few days later to check and see how I was doing -- I was unconscious, but I called back today to tell them how sick I still am, and could they please prescribe some antibiotics because that's very obviously what I need. They told me that I'd need to come back in for another appointment. I really don't understand why I have to pay for an additional visit because they messed up the first time. It's crap. A real doctor may be more expensive, but at least you know that it will be money well spent and that IF they mess up, they will prescribe you something else via telephone. MinuteClinic seems like a bargain, but BEWARE -- it's just throwing your money away. read more

She was very thorough in her questions and had an excellent caring manner. I had been nervous about some health issues but she made me relaxed and was patient with me. When it is a minor issue or I can't get in to see my doctor, I will continue to come here. read more

There was no line when I went there for a UTI. Which was great because there is only one doctor. She was very nice and informative and the whole process was fast and the pharmacy filled my prescription quickly too. Much easler than going to an urgent care facility. They accept most major insurance so I only had to pay my usual copay. I highly recommend Minute clinics for minor issues. read more

Had an accident today and sliced my thumb open with a rusty screw. Knew I had to get a tetanus shot because I haven't had one in probably 18 years or more. Was dreading going to urgent care because of Covid but remembered Minute Clinic. Looked it up to see if they gave vaccines, they did! Made an appointment online for 3 hours later. Showed up early and was seen by my appointment time. Was in and out in under 10 minutes. The NP was friendly and helpful and gave some advice on keeping my wound clean. Cynthia Lee was Awesome! Came for a measles shot after work and thought I would have to come back on a Saturday. The computer stopped taking people but Cynthia was kind enough to squeeze me in. Long story short I had an ear infection and the drops they prescribed weren't even for an infection, just wax and refuse to give me a follow up after a on going 2 week ear infection...... HORRIBLE care. Don't waste your time or money $89 firm go to Walk in Clinic in Hollywood, specially if you don't have insurance. they only charge $69 and free follow up within a week. much better than minute clinic. read more
