That said, Dr. Patel is wonderful. He took his time to explain what might be going on in layman's terms, and I appreciated his thorough, unhurried demeanor. For others looking to visit (and those who are able to do so), I'd recommend calling ahead to make an appointment and/or checking in ahead of time. So not only did I just waste my time, I have to go another night with, body spasms, rolling veins (which I attempted to show Veronica, and she did not even look), hyperventilating while puking, tears in my esophagus elevated heart rate. And again not DRINKING ANY WATER. For 3 days. I've been puking my stomach lining up for 3 days!!!! Im clearly dehydrated, you can see it in my lips they are sticking together from LACK OF ELECTROLYTES! One of my after care instructions is to stay hydrated. When I CANT KEEP ANY THING DOWN. Now excuse me if urgent care doesn't treat dehydration, but Veronica did not even acknowledge my concerns of dehydration. Very poor bedside manners, it was a horrible experience for me. On another note, ladies in the front office were super sweet and nice. Answered all my questions and did not make me feel stupid. One of the ladies and I had a great conversation. I usually don't leave review let alone negative ones. But when Im already dealing with a health issues it's very disappointing to get frustrated with the lack of service you receive when trying to take care of yourself. I apologized immediately and explained it took me an hour and ten minutes on the road at rush hour which was unusually heavy . The receptionist told me to wait in the waiting room for what turned out to be an additional 6 minutes while she slowly sorted out someone's health insurance card. Then when she was finished, she summoned me from the waiting room and said she'll ask the doctor if I can be seen. I asked her to let him know I arrived 6 minutes prior and hoped for a little flexibility. She scoffed at this as if I hadn't arrived at 6:10pm instead of 6:16pm. Probably 6:17 by the time she spoke to the doctor. After this, she returned and seemed to take pleasure in the fact that the Doctor wouldn't see me. Zero flexibility or understanding despite it never being a problem to make a patient wait for extended periods when they have an appointment. Check the patients experiences on G oogle reviews and you'll see what I'm talking about. Not cool. Won't ever be back.

Pretty sure I was past the contagious period due to my symptoms being a few days ago. She had me wait in waiting area for about 10 minutes while she ran the labs.
