This is in response to both reviews as this is Edward Mint, managing agent.... 1st Matthew is telling and out right lie!!!! I never spoke to an attorney and we had to actually barrow the monies he was paid back on due to litigation with Allen Falls Properties failing to pay the final invoice on a home we built! The home got a certificate of occupancy in which several subcontractors including McCormick Construction which is in the area of about $35,000 owed by Jack and Sherry Falls! We never received o e dime as fact on record there is $70,000 owed on that project that Jack Falls and Sherry Falls refused to pay, its actually being held in trust at the Burke County Court house. We have never misappropriated funds on any project. Matthew purchased cash from Jack Falls Lot 4 address 1087 Turkey Tail Lane Morganton as matter of fact and record! He gave $25,000 cash and paid another approximately $10,000 to on-site construction a TN based Corp to grade clear and install a septic. The septic is permitted but not installed. He decided to over build the property and Mintz Enterprises had a 4 acre track that was sold at $2000 over cost to Matthew so to allow him to have the room needed and a more than fair price it was at 50% value needless to say Mintz Enterprises never received one dime for assisting in the sale of Lot 4 at Turkey Tail lane! Has fact of. Record and court documents and deed transfers and land aquastions all this is a matter of public record! Why someone would blantly lie and give negative reports off of hear say when there is absolute public record to follow. As a matter of record Jack Falls and Sherry Falls was to develop 5.07 acres near Matthew's 4 acres which Mintz Enterprises absorbed $24,000 of debt in a promise that Mintz would build 4 to 6 homes on the property so it was conveyed with clear deed on Trust as matter of Record a double closing at Hodges law firm Morganton, NC. So let us take a look at the Facts. MINTZ ASSISTED MATTHEW I. acquiring 4acres at 50% cost, assisting him in acquiring 3/4 acres without any benefit or payment of any kind. Paid to finish 1 home at 940 Turkey Tail Lane, Morganton which is valued at $425,000 and Mintz along with Multiple contractors have not been paid the $70,000 due by Allen Falls Properties and Jack And Sherry Falls. We also built a home at 105 Reep St, Morganton and got it to 90% complete and Falls failed to pay and had committed Bank Fraud by lying to the bank in order to make a draw. Mintz Enterprises took pictured for future lawsuites that will soon be filled also. As to 105 Mintz along with several subcontractors are owed $29,000 by Jack Falls and Allen Falls Properties. So the Facts stands and all is a matter of public record and not hear say! As to the Regina Knox project she went over Budget by $40,000 and her project had an equity value much over that. We never misappropriated any fu ds as she purchased out of her own pocket and Mintz Enterprises refunded her 100% from each draw as was requested by Knox! The home has since sold and we was given our profit of $1500 which I doubt any Contractor ever roughed in a home for the great sum of $5000 on a $200,000 build. So there are many negatives given when in fact it was just some jealousy of a false success that Mintz Enterprises seem to be acquiring. However we have since declined any builds and we will only work for people that have actual funds to pay 100% and that understands the rules of building and remodeling. Trust is a huge factor in this industry but I never thought I would see a day that people would prey on working class people!!! It's sad that not only is the Federal government making more difficult to succeed in this country but those who have a little something simply want to stomp those working folks down!!! So as matter of fact and record we are Licensed, we are 20 plus years of experience with many customers prior to 2008 where we built approximately 65 homes perfectly and was paid perfectly. We have project managed 5 contracts awarded to a company called vets USA in a sum of $3billion dollars... so our integrity has never changed, our commitment to trustworthy and qualified customers has never changed and or craftsmanship and the ability to build some qualified customer there dream! The chance to own their custom home! Unfortunately we can't do it for FREE!!! I personally wish we could!!!!! read more
