I worked with Steve in the past and he always performed excellent work at a very FAIR price. Todd has since bought the company from Steve several years ago. I was unaware of this. I called to have my pad replaced. Todd arrived and fiddled with it for a few minutes and then told me he doesn't have any pads but would need to order me one. My garage door and springs did not squeak but he wanted to oil them anyway. I had no other problems other than needing my pad replaced. My belt was fine but he said he wanted to tighten it. Todd found work to try to justify his time of coming out without a pad for replacement. He was here 20 minutes and charged me $125. He said he'd call me when a pad comes in and he would have to come back out for another service appointment. North Country Garage Door has lost a customer. Hi, One morning I was doing my morning routine which was getting myself ready to first drop off my…read morecousin at her job and then proceed another 10 215 minutes to my own job. As I picked up my phone and proceeded to walk through my kitchen to the garage door, I heard a loud bang in the garage as I rushed out the door see what it was, my cousin unbelievably forgot to open the garage door as she felt she was doing me a favor my back in the car out the garage into the driveway. Thankfully we were able to get the door open to where we were able to get the car out and then force it closed, but that was it it was seized shut at that point. Highly upset of the situation although forced to keep my composure because I was at work and didn't want the world to know about my morning casualty, I sucked it up got on my desktop went to Yelp and found Royals Garage Door Service. When I explain to them the situation, they first comfort by me by letting me know that "my situation is extremely common" and they reassured me that they can come out, give me an estimate and change the garage door within 24 hours, which amazingly they kept to their word. When I came home the following early evening I had a brand new garage door that was fully functioning and open actually smoother and my old door did. I will never take for granted the importance of something simple as a garage door again, thank you Royals Garage Door Service for first off for their professionalism, Speedy service and even down to something as small as letting me know that, "I am not the first nor am I going to be at last person to experience this." I highly recommend this company to everyone this post lays eyes on. Thank you once again Royals Garage Door Service.

The spring for our garage door broke when I was overseas. We also had issues with badly rusted…read moretracks and damaged seal at bottom of the door that we had put off repairing for some time. My wife was home but doesn't like dealing with arranging repairs so I had to schedule everything from abroad. I made the initial contact to Rise and Shine through Yelp, along with several other companies. I had reached out to a number of garage-door installers and repair companies in the area and Rise and Shine was the most response. While they have emergency services, we scheduled the visit two days away. Rise and Shine makes it easy to keep in communication sending alerts when the technician is on the way. You can make requests and communicate with the company by phone, SMS, and Yelp and they support sending updates to multiple phone numbers. Estimates, invoices, and inspection reports were all shared digitally. This made coordinating things with me overseas and my wife at home very easy. They provide their 29-point inspection document with photographs and the technician gave us several options for repairs or new doors. Everything was communicated clearly and he didn't push us towards more expensive options. We went with repairs and he was able to make them the same day. Pricing was about what I expected. Not the cheapest, but reasonable. The convenience, clear communication, and lack of pressure for more expensive options make paying a little bit more worth it. Overall, I am very happy with their service and will definitely recommend them to other and they will be the first place I call for any future garage-door repairs or replacements.
