Disgusting behavior. Extremely disappointed with how this office treats patients. I submitted an…read moreonline form requesting an appointment as a new client. On May 15th, 2026, Sarah from this office called and left me a voicemail stating they received my request, were booking new patients for mid-to-end of June, and asked me to call back to schedule. When I called back, the staff were explicitly made aware of my online request and the reason I was calling back and actively tried to move forward to find a timeslot for me and schedule an appointment as a new patient. However, the exact moment I disclosed that my insurance is MinnesotaCare, they flipped. They immediately denied me service as all of the sudden they 'are no longer accepting new patients.' Turning away individuals based on their public assistance status while keeping the door open for private payees is illegal discrimination under the Minnesota Human Rights Act. This practice is money-hungry, unethical, and a blatant violation of basic patient respect. Avoid this place. Also note, MinnesotaCare is not free and insurance I am PAYING THE PREMIUMS every month to have just to get denied services and care that I have the right to go to receive these services and care).

Dr. Parks is a fabulous dentist that I have chosen many years ago to see…read more Dr. Parks we have seen since over 15+ years! Our family with 3 teens have had exceptional care by Dr. Parks. He has not only consulted us on our routine checkups and maintenance of our teeth, but also on very unique issues of one of our children born with over 9 missing teeth buds, Our child had braces, now a teen has a retainer with teeth on it and eventually will have implants. Dr. Parks has guided us through this complicated journey with professionalism, dedication to the patient and excellent referrals of an orthodontist team and surgeon consultant. Dr. Parks strives to continue learning by teaching at the U of M and becoming updated on new procedures, and this industry of care. I highly recommend Dr. Parks.as his expertise and friendly staff make it a great experience for all ages when going to the dentist can be daunting.

I never really had a dental hygienist that stood out to me before, but Amy was wonderful!!! I could…read moretell that I wasn't just a number to her, but that she truly cared about me and about the people she serves. Her heart is in her work. And not only that, she's also very skilled and worked very gently and carefully. Even though I have sensitive teeth, my experience was actually pleasant this time being at the dentist. I could also tell from the information she shared with me that she keeps up with current research and embraces holistic nutrition and also has knowledge about our body's other systems that affect our overall health, including our teeth. I also met with Dr. Schwartz for my exam. I could sense that his number one priority was what is best for the patient, and he treated me as well as a person would treat a family member. The cost of the cleaning and exam was affordable too, especially considering the quality of care.

I have been a patient for over 25 years. Today was absolutely unacceptable experience. I switched…read moreinsurances and mentioned it to my hygienist. The reply was " I clean teeth, front desk takes care of that". I told her I already informed front desk, and letting her know, if additional services beside cleaning were needed ( I expected this to be a common knowledge). This was not a typical response i usually receive. Then my mouth was examined and I sensed a great agitation/urgency wave from the hygienist. I was told my gums state declined from last time and we need to do something and develop a plan. I am not sure if my history was reviewed prior to my arrival. I replied, I have been living with my mouth for a long time and cleaning every 3 months. Onto cleaning: I asked for a numbing jel prior to cleaning. I was put flat in a chair, no overhead light. When top gum was covered, I asked to stop/ complete lower gum later and raise my head, as gel leaks into a throat typically in horizontal position. There was no actual wait time between application of gel and measurements by a sharp ( loud measurements with front desk clerk involved in a process recording mm). Then there were pictures taken, at one point I heard: " I don't want to see this". The hygienist stated I need to be seen by a doctor, but the Dr was not in a clinic at the time of my appointment (verified by the same front desk clerk). The cleaning/rinsing with laser like plink started, but not enough water was given, so my mouth was dry. I asked why I was not rinsed periodically, to which reply was the water is already a part of cleaning plick. I was asked to close my mouth periodically with metal cleaning tip very close to my lips. I actually felt my lips brushing against some surface when I close my mouth almost every time. I asked hygienist to keep the metal piece farther. She stopped and stated: Let's see a doctor....but the doctor was not in. I never saw a doctor, even thru Hygienist sounded like it's urgent and my gums were actively bleeding. Instead, front desk clerk appeared and wanted to reschedule my appointment. I reported noticeable agitation from hygienist, felt very unwelcomed as a client, basically disrespected. I wondered, if hygienist wanted to actually clean my mouth, do her job. Hygienist disappeared, no doctor in site, my mouth dry and still having gel in. I stated I will be transitioning my cares away to another service Provider.
