I immediately went to the office to get an employee. The office was disgusting. Furniture cluttered around, food out, grime everywhere. It was like a bachelor pad. There wasn't even much room to walk around. One of the men working came out and took photos, then had me return inside to file a report. He had to search and all he had was a pencil for me to use. He said I'd get a call that day or the next morning. It's been 2 days and no word from them. I tried snapping in the panel, but the damage was too great and it wouldn't stay. I couldn't even get far without it falling off, so I had to find a store and get tape just to make it back home! Very upset and do not recommend! They do not care about your car or your business.

I'm mystified by the good reviews, I can't even get anyone to tell me what's wrong with the car and look at it after leaving it for weeks at times, are they interested in doing inspections and oil changes only and only look at cars when there's nothing for the day, and their policy is to tell customers they don't know when they leave and be able to look at it, that it might be next week. On average, the last three times I've brought a vehicle here, I've had to call three times a remind them for them to even look at it, and they have moved towards never being able to give any kind of expected time I'm assuming they're still taking new vehicle's during that time and just forgetting about my vehicle or prioritizing people, they know or something? It's anyone's guess when there's no communication. So two thoughts 1. Someone in charge is overwhelmed Adhd person and is not processing cars in the order they come in while customers are being forgotten and not communicated with. 2. Whoever is in charge doesn't have the business assertion skills to refuse business. It would be better to have a future customer than create bad customer service that would make someone wanna take the time to write the review I am writing. The people have not been inpolite at the front desk, but like I said, it's promise, nothing and deliver nothing here, Secondly, I am returning the car for the second time with the same problem, after waiting a week and a half for them to look at it the last time, they informed me that it would be another unknown amount of time before they can order the parts to do the complete repair job, so I let them replace the ignition coil and got my car back I love my town, and I would love to give a better review for a local business, but for now I'm looking for another mechanic, and I would recommend you do the same. Maybe going to Asheville is worth it. When I was on the other side of town, I got some pretty good service at several places. Again, I'm willing to reconsider my experience if somebody wants to reach out, but this has been the worst customer experience at an auto place ever. It would be better for you to tell people that you can't take any business and that they would do better somewhere else then to instruct your staff to tell people you don't know when you'll be able to get to it and make them beg you to plug the machine in and let them let them know what the code says Update: 1/19/23: found a new mechanic, turns out one of the two coils they replaced just two months ago, failed because they were of dubious quality. Definitely not going back here., don't want to create a business rivalry, so I won't say where , but my car is running great now

I knew by walking in the office that they were smokers and instructed them that I do not want my car to smell from smoke. Derek assured me that it wouldn't and it didn't. I have to say I was extremely satisfied with the finished product! My car is a 2007 Acura MDX (12 years old) and just turned 100,000 miles. It's my baby and will drive it until I die. Derek made the car look 'Showroom New.' There were some scratches and door dings that are now completely gone. My right headlight cover had scratches and was getting a little discolored. Somehow, the scratches are gone and it's now crystal clear. The inside detail was incredible. I have had many auto details in the past, but this was by far the best I have ever seen. I highly recommend Derek as does my neighbor who is also a very satisfied customer. Ron Wacik Flat Rock NC

I have used Cooper Detailing in the past to detail my SUV and have been very happy with them -…read moreuntil yesterday. While the young man that I left my SUV with was as nice as could be, my concerns about not allowing smoke in my vehicle were ignored. I have a severe allergic reaction (chest pain, unable to breathe - even second hand smoke and residue) which I stated when I dropped the car off. When I arrived to pick it up, someone in the office (management/owner?) was smoking so much that it was drifting into my car. I started closing all the doors, mentioning the smoke getting in there. Today, more than 24 hours later, my car smells horrible and I now have chest pains from having to wash the entire interior of my car, which I could have done without taking it to Cooper and paying $200 for what should have been a clean car. I still have to wash the carpeting and overhead cloth. I am beyond upset about this. They offered to spray "new car" deodorant in the car but you cannot remove smoke after it permeates carpeting, overhead cloth and leather!!! Nicotine leaves a residue that has to be washed out and I don't know how I'm going to get it all out (or if I even can) before my vacation on Monday which will be ruined if I can't go because I can't even get in the vehicle. If you're in the business of CLEANING a vehicle, you should not be allowing smoke from anywhere to DIRTY it. I will NEVER return to Cooper Detailing and all the friends that I have recommended this company to will be notified.
