I left hoping to support a local business -- but instead I got shifting excuses and no transparency. Having a controlled-substance prescription is already complicated enough. What I experienced felt dishonest and unfair. I ended up scrambling to find another pharmacy and asking my doctor to cancel and reissue the script, which caused extra stress and delay. If you rely on prescriptions -- especially controlled-substances -- I wouldn't trust this pharmacy to be consistent, fair, or reliable.

First off when we got in the store the guys behind the counter was watching a movie and it was very loud. I didn't care but he seemed annoyed we came inside to interrupt his "tv time". He barely made eye contact and rushed us out. I was polite and nice. We went back out to scratch off our lotto tickets. (We were waiting for our seats at the pancake house across the street) We ended up winning on 2 scratch offs $6. So i told my nephew he can get whatever he wants. We went inside and the guy behind the counter looked even more annoyed. I felt awkward but was being polite and kind hoping to change he mood. Nope he started yelling at me saying "i know what you are trying to do" "i have cameras in here" he said i was trying to make him lose his job. I told him I am almost 32 and asked if he wanted my ID. My 9 year old nephew was scared and confused. I took the money and left. We didn't buy anything. Told my nephew we can go somewhere else. Very strange. The single pharmacist on duty doesn't have time to give vaccines on top of filling everyone's prescriptions, so there are always long long wait times. I just waited 35 minutes for a flu shot despite having had an appointment and with only one other person waiting for the same. Looks like Walgreens is maximizing their corporate profits by intentional understaffing. I also overheard an elderly woman being told her prescription was not available, even though she had received two automated calls telling her it was ready for pick up.
