Meet the Business Owner: Jim D.
Jim Davis earned his BFA in Conceptual Advertising Design from the Columbus College of Art & Design in 1991. Upon graduating, Jim moved back to his hometown of Detroit where he accepted a position as Art Director at DMB&B. In this role, Jim held responsibility for developing the print and broadcast advertising for the Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors. Specific projects included the Pontiac Grand Am, the Pontiac Grand Prix and the debut of the Pontiac Sunfire. Jim's client list at DMB&B then expanded to include FTD Florists, the GM Card, Dow Chemicals and the American Plastics Council. After 4 years, Jim was promoted to Senior Art Director for Cadillac Motor Division where he created print and television concepts for the entire Cadillac line of vehicles.
In 1995, Jim accepted a position at Harris Marketing Group (HMG) in Ann Arbor, Michigan as Creative Director. At HMG, Jim directed and oversaw the development of niche marketing programs for General Motors, Heineken and Little
