I cannot put into words how much this place helped me when I needed it the most (but I'll try!) …read more After seeking help on a multitude of platforms when I discovered my husband's sex addiction, I was often left feeling as though I was the person to blame for his addiction. I refused to accept this blame or to be called a codependent. Karen was the first person I encountered (after months of searching) to understand my frustration with these labels. For the first time since the discovery, I felt as though I wasn't being judged. She was open and supportive of me. I was finally able to openly discuss everything that had happened without fear and without judgement. It was beyond refreshing. So, if you're seeking someone to talk to who will meet you wherever you are at, openly listen to you, and help you find ways to cope- Karen is amazing. Somehow, she gave me advice when I needed and abstained when I didn't. I have also heard phenomenal things about Chris through some inner circles. Karen and Chris gave up their former lives to help people like my husband and myself. I'm incredibly grateful they did. They helped me find peace during my most turbulent time and I hope they help you find peace, too.

We took our child here for adhd testing. I don't understand why it had to be three appointments…read morelong. One to meet the parents. One to test the child. And one for the results. I felt this was excessive. For the child's appointment/ testing, you have to sit there on the small waiting room for two hours. They don't want you to leave even though you won't see your child. Another office visit and copay 2 weeks later to get the results instead of mailing the findings to you or the doc, or discussing them over the phone. And she didn't even diagnose ODD which we are positive he has, only the ADHD. My child refuses to listen and fights us every step of the way. He will always do the opposite of what he's asked to do and doesn't respect authority. I'm not paying another copy and office visit to have her look again. . She also scored my child low in some areas and said he was at this grade level and at this many months. But that's right where he is supposed to be! He scored low in the areas he's good at in school and high in areas that he's bad at in school. My child's teacher and I didn't understand this either. Oh and if you're one minute late and in the parking lot, they will call you. Give me five before you call lol

Who ever made the appointment also failed to describe what a parking nightmare it is at the medical location and that the building doesn't even face the street making it hard to locate, furthermore the building is under construction and when you arrive to suite 405 there is 2 of them! I ended up waiting in the wrong one for over 20 minutes being ignored by the staff finally made it to the correct 405 suite and explained it to the girl and she blew me off. Then another staff member came and asked if I wanted to wait because it's their lunch and that's when I was informed of the 1 pm time. My husband is a medical professional and took off time to be with me but unfortunately had to return to work to see patients so now our moment to see the baby together and speak with the Dr. together is ruined. No words to explain the disappointment. The front desk is very unprofessional, immature, unapologetic, and cannot communicate. *** update *** I did blood work to find out the gender of my baby. I was told it would take 2 weeks to find out and I would be contacted by the office as soon as the results came in. 2 weeks came and went with no call. I ended up contacting the office myself to get the results. The results came in September 16, I called September 30. 14 days my results sat in the office and no phone call was made. Again precious moments ruined.

If I called with a question, a nurse was always able to assist me. I read the reviews of Dr. Mc. Farland and she was always very nice to me and knowledgeable. She took her time and answered all my questions. I was induced by her recommendation at 38 weeks and although that process wasn't ideal, I have a healthy and happy baby. I'm grateful for their treatment and care. The nurses are all nice and friendly. The only staff member I didn't care too much for is one of the ladies up front who works at the check in and check out counter. She has short black hair but I never got her name. She can be rude and makes you feel rushed. I didn't care for her attitude but don't feel my rating should be impacted by one person.
