This Gap Factory Store is a part of Quinte Mall, but it's not in the mall. It's a part of the box store section where you have to walk outside. I came here after having lunch for part two of my shopping spree. Years ago, button-fly jeans were in. When I lived in Winnipeg, I got my first pair of button-fly jeans. I moved around a fair amount that I don't know what happened to them. Weird. It's still a mystery to me. Anyway, there were button-fly jeans that were 50% off. I tried on a pair and loved how they fitted. I also have signed up for e-mail promotions. I got an extra $10 off them just for showing the e-mail. Go, me! There are decent discounts in this store. I liked how it was so easy to shop around, as it wasn't overly busy on a late Sunday afternoon. The man at the cashout area was great. It was sparsely staff the day I visited, but it was a weekday, so it could be the reason. What brought the rating down to 3 stars was the boring styles. There were a lot of styles, they were just all so boring. If you are looking for a casual yet classic looks, this store will be okay. Otherwise, ya know.

This studio produces some of the nicest pieces I have seen in terms of quality, selection, colour, variety of form and is a highlight of the County artisan group. It is located just off the beaten path, just 200 meters off Hwy 33 on Hwy 62 towards the Sandbanks and down a gravel road. The owner/artisan will do a demonstration for a group which fascinates adults and children alike. And even if you cannot afford or have need for a piece, just to look at the various pieces in the gallery is entertaining and I often buy a Christmas bulb for $25 or $30 for a personable gift to give to someone that has everything. The prices are reasonable given the quality and uniqueness. This is not a production shop. A great sidetrip and not far out of the way. I have been going there for 20 years.

This store wins the award for having the most Kipling bags that I have ever seen at a Winners. There were three sling bags in a floral pattern, and black and blue colours. Insane! I don't own a sling bag. There were also backpacks in various sizes, and a casual Kipling tote in taupe. My willpower kicked in and I eventually tore myself away from the bag section. The shoe section was impressive. I tried on a lilac pair of Skechers street sneakers. They threw me back to platform sneakers and felt so comfortable on my feet. I walked around in them and didn't want to take them off. Yes, I bought them. They look different. Yet, they feel so good. I paid using a credit card. I tried emailing them based on the email adress they provided in the website. I tried calling them but they only told me they were busy Then the day after 1 guy called me and apologize for the issue. He specifically told me as gratitude he is adding some gifts into my parcel. Everything was perfect until i received my order. All the items i ordered was present but The person lied to me as they were no extra gifts or something. Then i realized that they only lied to me as i wrote some reviews on my experience. It was all perfect until the fake promise. If you cannot fulfil a promise dont even do it next time. Will never order again from there.

Perhaps, what they are most known for is their bakery selling fresh apple pies, apple bread, cider, fritters and variety of seasonal baked goods. There is also an open-kitchen display window so you can watch how they bake their products. We decided to eat at the smoke house restaurant. A full rack of ribs, fries and a blooming onion costed $55. The ribs were flavorful and tender but I thought fries and onion were just very average and overpriced. I would skip those next time. Since I was watching my sugar intake, I skipped out on the more popular items and opted for a few scones and muffins for the drive back home. The scones were so rich, buttery and very crumbly on the outside with a dense interior. It was so savory and delicious. The muffins were very good as well and to my surprise wasn't too sweet. This was such a charming little town. I would definitely come back again next time I drive eastward. I think their bakery items are really good and were very reasonable in price. I'll try their famous apple fritter and apple bread next time I come back.

It was ready pretty quickly and it was...fine? The bread was insanely greasy and the meat was a little rubbery, while the dressing was so sparingly applied it was basically non-existent. So yeah, I can't say it was among the best Reubens I've ever had. The meal was redeemed, however, with a slice of apple pie. Said pie was actually quite delicious; the plentiful apple pieces were so tasty, and the pie itself was super flavorful and not too sweet. It's good stuff. I think I'll stick with the apple pie on future visits to The Big Apple.
