I found Mountain Vista after some research. Seeing that they have a good rating and are in network with my health insurance provider, I called them to get more info. I was told by the individual who returned my call that all evals require up front payment and that I would need to go through my health insurance afterwards to get any reimbursement I may be entitled to. I wasn't interested in going that route and decided against using this practice at that time. A few days after my interaction with them, I began to reconsider that conclusion. As I have the urge to get an eval done before the end of the year. I called my health insurance to discuss that scenario. Come to find out, Mountain Vista is breaking protocol within their contract with my health insurance provider. Per said contract, they are NOT allowed to mandate patients pay up front for an eval if they opt to use health insurance with an in network practice. This was baffling to me. As I'm sure Mountain Vista should've known this. My health insurance gave me insight I never expected to learn and one I can use moving forward should I experience this scenario again. With their assistance, I have filed a complaint against Mountain Vista. This situation was upsetting and caused dire frustration for me. Please do your research when looking for a provider. And if you have questions, I highly recommend contacting your health insurance provider. Stay away from Mountain Vista!

Cam (front desk member) originally got me set up to be apart of Roger's back in October 2025. She provided me with valuable info and answered my questions. Intake was very quick for me (depends on how soon you can be apart of Roger's) it took less than a week to be admitted for IOP (Intensive outpatient, based on your need of care.) My overall experience, I felt treated respectfully and professionally by staff. Caleb was my ERP therapist and he did an amazing job to help treat my OCD pure O. After I graduated from my group session I was also set up to connect with other ERP therapist that is in network with my insurance. . . .
