Although I have seen numerous negative reviews about this company, I would suggest that the writers of these reviews have no idea of the job NTPM is contracted to do. Their job is to oversee all aspects of property management. They do not do the work themselves, but contract and oversee the work of other companies (parking patrols, gardeners, snow removal, etc.) Our BoD has been very happy with the quality of the management by NTPM. Concerns or complaints are handled expeditiously and professionally. Our property manager is well-versed in the Ontario Condominium Act and all aspects of building maintenance. She attends our condo at least once per week and is always on site when a contractor is doing repairs. Just so you know, property management companies DO NOT set condo fees. These are a result of the budget that is set by the BoD. They are also NOT superintendents like you might have at a rental property. You own the home you live in and are responsible for repairs. Because many people do not understand how condominiums are governed and managed they do not understand the role of the property management company. I have worked with Newton Trelawney for over six years and I would not hesitate to give them five stars for professionalism, experience and cooperation doing the job they were contracted to do.

And since the beginning of this year we have been dealing with a noise issue every single night and every single day. Eastway has done nothing except ignore me, lie to me, and give me excuses. I have heard people talking and using power tools but somehow they do not believe that its caused by people. And now they want me to believe that the noise is coming from a lower floor on far end of the building. But I hear the noise coming from directly above me and when I stand on the 3rd floor where I live, on that end of the building above where they claim the noise is coming from. I can't hear the noise. But I can hear it in my condo. Obviously it's not where the noise is coming from. And Eastway doesnt care, if the noise is coming from someone else's condo it's not their problem so they are just going to keep making up whatever unbelievable excuse they can, so that they dont have to do any work. Do not buy a condo in any building run by Eastway property management!
