She really listens when you're describing symptoms or ailments and takes notes in your chart as you converse. She offers options, never hesitates to suggests further testing yet doesn't order unnecessary labs or tests either. If your schedule is flexible, you can often get a same or next day appt. To give you an idea of how wonderful she is, I drive 30+ miles to see her and there are plenty of options much closer to home.

And then one of my kids started exhibiting signs of ADHD. This doctor doesn't think ADHD is real. He thinks it's a sign of bad parenting. The day he said that we left and never went back. We found an amazing pediatrician who actually was able to help my kid in ways that changed their life and set them up for success. The best part of going to this doctor was his super helpful staff. I guess if your kid's problems are in the realm of his own experience then maybe he can help you. Just be prepared to have your own time disrespected and plan on spending a long time in the waiting room with your toddler.

When I called to find out why, they would not provide a reason for declining to accept me telling me that they had the right to deny me. I asked to know the reason and was pretty much told that because I wanted an answer to that question, that was exactly the reason I wouldn't fit in with their practice. Not only does that seem unfair to me, it makes no sense. If you can't ask questions, or get answers, then it's probably best to seek a different provider. That's a really sad state of affairs.
