We spoke w/ numerous people about their experience w/ Willow Manor Assisted Living Community in Deming, NM and we also visited and spoke w/ the 2 directors on site at Willow Manor on 3 separate occasions before signing Mom up. Was it a good decision? NO, it was an EXCELLENT DECISION!!! Sandy and Mary, the two directors, were so very kind to my Mom and these two dedicated, compassionate, and intelligent ladies, along with their helpful, pleasant, and competent staff members met every expectation of quality care. No worries about medication administration or transportation/attendance to doctors' appointments. They were spot on. Meals were always good and available everyday at prescribed times. Special needs were always met in a pleasant and professional manner. My wife and I were concerned about where to leave Mom when we had to go back home. As it turns out, there was no need for concern once we decided on Willow Manor. Mom was in excellent hands. Willow Manor is not a fancy country club environment, but it is clean, very well run by very caring people, and it is very affordable; especially when you look at fees from other area facilities. Do not hesitate to sign-up Long Term or Short Term at Willow Manor. I can not imagine that you will be disappointed and when it comes to my Mom's care I am very particular. Thank you. In the 5 years since starting treatment from Dr Aswad I have hardly been to the hospital and only for emergency room visits no stays besides on for 2 days where before each time I was admitted it was for 5 days to 2 weeks. He is extremely attentive and takes the time to here my concerns and or symptoms . He pays attention and always remembers my history. When I attend an appointment I never have to remind him what was discussed at the previous one. He has called me outside of business hours to answer questions or check up on me. I truly believed he has saved my life as well as giving me a better quality of life. I wouldn't switch to another Dr for the world. Honestly he is the best Dr I have ever been treated by.
