She had a last minute opening the next day so I took it. Alisha is great to work with. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she was able to replicate it. She is super sweet and very fun to talk with. She tried a neutralizer perm that would be friendly and easy on the hair, rather than other chemicals that would be too harsh. I was there for around 2.5 hours and was done after that! She gave me a number for me to text if I needed anything after. It turned out to be extremely helpful to have that offered. My hair did not respond to the chemicals she used. One side of my curls quickly loosened and completely lost its curl by the next day. I texted Alisha and she immediately responded. We set up an appointment for a couple days later to get it fixed. It worked for some parts, but not others. It might be that my Asian hair is just thicker and more resistant. I texted her once again, and she responded quickly, we set up another appointment and she used stronger chemicals. It finally worked! I'm happy with my little waves (though I notice that if I don't shower for a few days, some part my my hair will still go flat... but once I shower, they just bounce back... not sure if that is normal?) and I do appreciate Alisha being extremely responsive with texts. It's nice knowing I have direct access to her after getting the perm done. The salon is clean and the other workers there were very friendly.

Not only was this the worst haircut he's ever gotten but he didn't receive the services as advertised on their website. When my husband got there they didn't do the hot towel, straight razor, shoulder massage, or hot lather. Ruthie even left his beard half done because she "didn't have time" (!) even after cutting out everything she was supposed to do. And she overcharged him for the haircut and beard trim. So he came home with a half done beard trim and a five o'clock shadow where she didn't have time to shave. How did she not have any time? We literally booked this appointment online into her availability. I booked him here because I thought the full experience would be a nice surprise and treat. Well, it was definitely a surprise. If anyone knows of a reputable barber shop to go to please private message me! We're still fairly new to the area and can't seem to find a good place for a shave and a haircut.

I recently begun growing a beard and I needed it trimmed. And I wasn't just about to go anywhere for it. The reviews I saw for here are what sold me. Since the positive reviews were not just one person in the shop but each of them, I was confident with just walking in and any one of them taking me. But I'm very happy Kara was my barber. I really enjoy the vibe of the shop. It was welcoming and comfortable. They had complementary drinks ranging from soda to beer (which I thoroughly enjoyed). My wife decided to treat me that day so she got the Deluxe for me( which was the haircut and scalp/face massage) and the beard trim. Man o man I have never felt more relaxed in my life. During the face/scalp massage I felt like I feel asleep from how relaxed I was. It was $75 with all that ($60 for deluxe and $15 for beard trim) and it was highly worth it.
