And that wine you got at Costco and you bought it because it had a big wine expert rating? He probably doesn't have THAT one, but he knows what that one's like and he can point you to a couple of others that are at least as good. (At LEAST.) His beer selection rotates through a bunch of foreign beers (nice Belgians last visit), domestic micros and a passel of locals and near-locals. His wine and beer tastings after work are fun, with friendly regulars and libations served by really helpful and knowledgeable people. And he always has a really fun growler from a local brewery or interesting microbrew from which he'll fill a plastic jug for you to take home. Drink it within a couple of days so it won't go flat.
