Aloha from Hawaii. Authentic Italian taste in Australia! Stopped by Ulladulla for a night stay…read moreduring our road trip from Sydney to Melbourne and did a little research on the best places to eat. Saw a bunch of great reviews on a different site online but only two on Yelp for this place. Doesn't seem like Yelp has caught on as much as the states here in Australia so I felt compelled to leave a good word. We've travelled all over the world and we've had our fair share of Italian food in Italy. Tony's totally reminded us of the eateries we visited in Italy. Fresh, aromatic, and well put together. Flavors are balanced and delightful. The service was extraordinary. Everyone at this establishment had a smile and gave us a very warm welcoming. It was refreshing to taste fine dining quality Italian food in a casual environment. If you're passing by Ulladulla and looking for some grinds... you won't regret paying Tony's a visit for a little taste of Italy.

Chicken was good Ambiance;, we were in kind of a hallway outside the kitchen in kind of weird area, different set up for sure. A family of like 6 walked through the area more than 5 times, again, very strange, oh and they were like straight off the beach, it was definitely night and raining and they were wrapped in beach towels and bare foot. I live in a beach community in S. California and no one walks into a restaurant w bare feet and a towel. Establish some sort of dress code. Anyway, the waiter clearly smoked something in the parking lot, because he poured a glass of wine and it was like one ounce and walked away, the waiter was wearing sweat pants and a beat up tee, again, some sort of dress code please. Pizza looked good, maybe next time, take away. Won't eat in the restaurant again. Skip...

I've definitely had better on this trip hence the rating I gave. The wait was long (30+mins) to get our food (after ordering) and we wanted oysters but was told that it wasn't served until 1:30pm which would be another hour from the time we got to the front of the line.... so bummers. Good to experience some local seafood straight from the harbor. But don't expect to be wowed by it.

I always fall a little more in love with a place when they take your coffee orders as they sit you - seriously swoon at this. So straight off the bat, big tens for the staff - they can do no wrong now .. and to our delight, they didn't. They were thorough with our orders, just the right amount of friendly throwing in some classic one liners and just really pleasant ... a smile when taking your order does wonders to your soul !!! OK so aesthetically speaking, Huskisson in general seems like they may have missed the memo that it's no longer '87 - the one strip of shops all resembling a by-gone era with that awful blue balustrade thing going on out the front - you guys know the one - and that's a shame because some of these restaurant fit outs are right on trend. This café is cool, so cool it surpasses coolness and ends up well into supercoolness. The artwork in here is everything - the major one is the front grill of maybe a chevy (that's the only car I know that closely resembles what I saw) .. the kicker? They're all for sale too. The tall tables are a knockout too - legs made of pipes ...and my favourite subject - lighting - Edison globes all day son!!! My life, where do I start with the food - egg, bacon brioche roll, pancakes with lemon curd and pistachio praline ricotta - WHAT ??? Bircher museli with honey labna - STOP... Just stop. I can only speak of the muesli and it was great - a tad sweet, but the labna was well tart so a good balance there. There's a load of other options too so if you want a great coffee and feed and feeling rather generous, support a local, head down here, order your grub and buy a print. Simple.

It is well within walking distance of most of Huskisson, but I always drive there. Unless there is a parking spot right out front, which is rare during summer months, I tend to park on Morton St and walk down. Excellent selection and always delicious.
