We are going into his third year of enrollment and I'm constantly amazed at how much he has bloomed and what he has learned in his time there. The teachers are absolute gems, the administration is attentive and personable, and the whole school feels like a community. I love that my son is exposed to things that I can't expose him to on an everyday basis, especially other cultures and traditions. We live about 35 minutes from the school and the commute is totally worth it for the school. I could not have asked for a better fit for our family!

Our "slow to warm up" kiddo loved it on the first day and was always happy and excited on "school" days. They really let the kids be who they are, meet them where they are, and foster their interests. He was able to paint everyday and they have a music teacher, which is great. The playground is lovely and the kids/other families are kind. I highly recommend. Also, they are associated with Greenwood Forest Baptist church, but it is a non-religious pre-school and GFBC supports LBTQIA and BLM.

We always felt welcome and that our child's needs were being met, emotionally, physically, academically and socially. As a non church member we were still included to celebrate in holiday activities and extra curricular events held at the church and surrounding community. I love the director Beth and all the teachers are well trained. Their summer camps are also a great way to get introduced into the preschool and all things Christ The King has to offer.

I highly recommend CTK if you are looking for a preschool!

Of course, not all counsellors but the few we experienced have put on movies, and are kinda immature in interacting during parent interaction. Don't get me wrong nobody is mean but the place isn't worth the price at all. YMCA is running laps around Duke School summer camp in terms of fun energy and don't tell me it's educational and cut out half the stated activities b/c suzie q didn't remember. Overall Duke School is a master a marketing an illusion of what it thinks it is. Maybe 20 years ago dude...

They are all caring, fun and work hard to adapt to children's educational needs and comfort level. Communication is another positive with this school. The school has great communication about events, children's achievements, any illnesses, and each child's daily activities to include photos. I can't recommend this school enough.

She loves going to school and is always greeted as well as I am with a hello from the director and assistant director every morning. I am so glad that we found this school for our daughter. She is now 4 and we are looking forward to having her attend their private kindergarten program in the fall. Great job Grove School!! My daughter is now in 2nd grade and has surpassed all reading goals every year since Kindergarten. I give all credit to The Grove School. She loves reading and math. I recommend this school to anyone who really wants to see their child succeed in school.

It felt like I wan in trouble or in the "office" in school it was weird. They said here is a list of everything that is wrong with it. I told them I was gonna use it to go across the country bc I am homeless going through a divorce. I did not go on my gut bc they were so professional, they could have wrote that bus off on their taxes, but instead they stole my whole savings, every dime. The guy that sold it to me had gold rings looking like a 100 dollar pimp. The money was for those young girls I was talking about at the beginning. The dash had been replaced with a newer one, but I got the computer to show me the real odometer reading, it was over 300, 000 miles, but the dash was showing 111,000 miles. They knew I would not make it back to WV from NC, and the lemon laws in NC are only for new cars. 6814725579 for more info. I donated the bus to a girl in Virginia working at an EXXON, lol. told her to scrap it. I did not even get home to work on it. UwU

It was the best decision we could have made for our children that year. The Director Ms Mary and all the teachers there are wonderful , approachable and very hardworking. My children learnt so much at GMA in the 1 year that they were there that I wish I had sent them to GMA right from the beginning -we really miss the school. The school has a curriculum which they set out for the year( they email the schedule at the beginning of the year). The children enjoyed many field trips . My children learnt complex science terms, history, music and much more. GMA does not advertise much. Its mainly word of mouth publicity. I am glad to see they finally made an appearance on yelp which is why I am posting here. GMA is also open to newborns and toddlers but I do not have experience with those teachers so cannot really say much. They also have a school bus in case you cannot pick or drop off your children to school and I liked the fact they are open almost all year except during the December holidays ( a blessing for working parents). One area of improvement is that I wish they had a better play yard but overall that was less of a concern for me.
