Honestly, this place is absolutely amazing. When I first arrived I was just expecting it to be one of those rather small local museums that really doesn't have all that much to offer. That could be no further from the truth. In fact this place can get away with charging an entry fee, namely because of what it has to offer - and what is that? Well, they pretty much have the largest collection of restored horse carriages in Australia, and honestlty, the collection is huge. I never realised how many different styles of carriages there were out there, particularly since the ones that I think of are pretty, well, bland. Along with that there is also a huge collection of period costumes, restored farm machinery, a train, and of course a room dedication to the traditional owners of the land. This place is certainly worth a visit. read more
