With our first contact with Bonnie to learn the chair was under warranty, and scheduling the repairs; To trouble shooting multiple times, in person and over the phone, with the technician Bill who could not have been nicer and more helpful and who contacted the chair manufacturer to find solutions and get the parts and then to his home visit to repair and the call before his arrival so someone was available. These people care about their customers and more importantly about the people (our mom specifically)who are impacted when those resources and equipment need repaired. Very Helpful and the best. Beware of purchasing a warranty on your item. $385 is the standard cost for a visit. Wow! In our…read morecase the visit was less than 20 minutes to diagnose the problem. It will be another $385 to install the broken part when it comes in. $770 is a big pill to swallow. Not sure if we'll owe anything for the part. Please ask questions about labor costs before purchasing a warranty on your item so you're not shocked like we were when you go to use it. In our case it is a lift chair and we need a new control box. It's stuck in a very uncomfortable position so we hope to hear soon that it's ordered and delivered to the store. We plan to pick it up and replace the part ourselves.

Service: Is it me or is most companies starting to not care about their customers…read more I haven't seen Rotech to even check on the O2 concentrator they dropped off a year ago. The unit runs so hot it heats up my 2 bedroom trailer AND I can't run the AC unit to cool down the area at the same time as running the O2 unit. It blows a main in the house. It really sucks when it's 90 degrees. The unit has even set fire to the outlet it's plugged into! I've had the unit for a year now and it sounds terrible. I called once to ask for more nasal cannulas and got yelled at, they sent me 6 for the year! I was going to order more...3.99 a piece. So, I ordered them from Temu for .89 cents a piece! It's terrible that I have to buy my own when my insurance covers it. Right now, I'm worrying about infections in my nose from using the same cannulas for over a month. Plus, I've had more trouble with respiratory infections since using their machine. Their website proclaims to "help with O2 therapy. My doctor called to see about setting up a new *cause it's been quite awhile* overnight study to check my levels, they either can't or won't do it. Though their website saids it does. I moved and my last carrier (Lincare) does not service this area, or I'd go back with them. Lincare was able to set up overnight O2 measurements, they set me up with hoses and cannulas, they even set me up with a nebulizer plus equipment. This company does not do anything for their patients. I am so disappointed. Now, I'm going to have to buy my own nebulizer plus equipement. Save yourself the trouble and headache of dealing with them. Go with someone else for your supplies or help. PS. Dear Katherine W. (See responses below) I did talk to customer service "AND GOT YELLED AT". Reread what I wrote. At 65, I am in no hurry to call and get yelled at again. This is NOT AI. I am NOT going to go the rounds, yet again with your customer service. I told them about the concentrator...they told me: "We check the units once a year and will be out when it's time." When I asked about getting more cannulas, She said she'd send them this time, but I can order them myself at the website. What she didn't tell me was, yes, I can order them myself but it would cost me 3.99 a piece!. YOU talk to your customer service...Like I said...I'm in my 60s and have no inclination to be yell at again. Other than being stuck with the concentrator because I can't afford to buy my own, I'm waiting for your unit to set set something on fire, I'm stuck with buying my own hoses, nebulizer plus that equipment, and whatever else I need. So NO, I don't recommend your company. NO, I do not recommend dealing with what you call customer service. Maybe it's just the people in this area, I wouldn't know because I wasn't given an option to get with another Rotech dealer. But your people that I have had dealings with - was/is not impressive. I'm not new to O2, I've been on it for over 20 years, and have NOT had a problem until you guys.

John from ASV told my father that he would beat the other 3 business' lowest price by $50.00. John arrived at my father's home and then told him that he would install a used stair lift, saving Dad $1000.00! Several days later, John installed the stair lift and even had to repair basement steps plus return to his business, 45 minutes away to get an extension. Since ordering a new platform would have required quite a bit of lead, assuming they even had the part in stock, Tim devised a way to fashion a replacement bracket of hardened steel that could be bolted on that very afternoon. Saving me a ton of down time, an additional trip to your location, and I imagine, quite a bit of money. The repair was done in the time promised, for a very reasonable sum, resulting in no additional down time for my lift. I has been two weeks and I am quite pleased with the way my lift is working since its repair. I really appreciate the care that Tim took in assisting me. As my main mobility scooter weighs 250lb, so I really depend on my lift being operational. And I appreciate Tim's determination to get me back on the road as soon as possible The repair was done in the time promised, for a very reasonable sum, and I was back up and running that same day. It has been two months since the repair and everything continues to work just fine.
