I don't take the time to write reviews unless I am highly impressed by some product or service; which happens rarely, maybe once every few years.
About a year ago, I was so lucky that Mr. Justine Wilmers agreed to help me with an injury case. I have seldom met a person with such a level of integrity, honesty, experience, knowledge and most importantly intelligence.
I had been injured from broken pieces of glass when a sliding glass shower door fell on me while taking a shower in my rental residence in Irvine.
The accident had happened back in 2018 and, for several years, I struggled to deal with the landlord's representatives, followed by their insurance company, and then by the insurance company's attorneys to absolutely no avail and with total frustration where they, after exchanging literally hundreds of emails, phone calls and letters, finally offered an amount that would not have covered even my medical expenses and lost wages. (Mr. Wilmers's law firm negotiated a settlement with the insurance company for more than 20 times as much.)
I was too naïve to believe an insurance company would be honest and would follow the law; I ended up filing a complaint with the California Orange County Court which added much more complexity, stress and anger. I was about to give up as no attorney was willing to take over what I had started, then I found Mr. Wilmers.
Right after he reviewed the documents and agreed to help me, he discovered several issues with the landlord's legal status, then issues with the insurance company's written documents and finally the mistakes their attorneys had made.
