It was a trip from hell without food, restroom breaks or time to see the promised attractions. The entire trip was false advertising. Even after I contacted Karen Toby mid trip and she promised it would be fixed, it did not get better. Karen told me that the situations I described were not up to the Toby standard and she would fix it. Not only did Toby tours not fix it but they are now denying that all the problems happened. Guests were told not to use the bus bathrooms, diabetics were fed donuts for breakfast. Promised attractions were closing as they arrived. Toby Tours should do the right thing, take responsibility and refund the money. Karen Toby, you know these guests did not get the tour you advertised and promised. My parents have filed a complaint with the BBB. Blocking me on Facebook won't keep me from sharing their experiences on other social media.

They kept my mothers money so her trip is still paid for even though she is not going and still up charged my cousin. There is a group of four ladies going on this trip that will likely never use Toby Tours again. I don't understand the loss of clients over a 300 dollar up charge when you kept all of my mothers money that was paid for trip. There is no need for the up charge as you kept the 800 paid by my mother, as if she is still traveling....Beware of this policy!!!!!!!!!!!

She was fantastic and full of knowledge about the area, the distilleries, and the history of bourbon. For 11 people we booked the 14 seat van for extra room and space for snacks. (Please note there weren't cupholders or armrests, but neither of those were a problem for our group) We connected our phone to the speakers via Bluetooth so we could play our curated playlist. We were allowed to hang a banner and pictures on the windows, and we could bring a full sized cooler of drinks + access it with ease. He went out of his way to give us some history of distilleries and the area, as well as showing us some local spots that the locals love. We really appreciated all that he did for us, from picking us up at our hotel, visiting local distilleries, taking us to a great BBQ lunch spot, and dropping us back at our hotel. For future readers, you'll recall that the spring of 2021 was a crazy time, coming off all the COVID lockdowns. Many distillers, who hadn't been open for tours for many months, were finally opening their doors, and demand for tours and tastings far exceeded availability. Tommy apparently has a few connections, and was able to get us the Connoisseur's Tasting at Heaven Hill, and the full tour and tasting at Maker's Mark. The experience was great: The van was large and comfortable, and Tommy--locally raised--knows the area, it's history, and plenty about the distilleries. In addition to the planned stops, he also made an unscheduled stop at the tiny Limestone Branch Distillery so we could taste some craft cocktails and buy some souvenirs. Bottom line: If you love bourbon, and you're looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable afternoon in the heart of bourbon country, you will not go wrong with Tommy and CopperTop Tours.

The bus arrived late, dirty, and malfunctioning. The tv's/sound system did not work, and the driver didn't seem too interested in getting it to work. did the driver know how to get it to work. The main tv near the exit/entrance would not stay up, so it hung low where a few clients bumped into it. We were told the 2nd driver could fix it, but he could not. He called and left a message for the manager, but he did not receive a callback nor did we. A LONG DRIVE (Louisville to New Orleans), with no tv, a mature crowd, expecting to watch movies. This did not go over well with our clients. And it got worse, the bathroom locked on its own. We immediately alerted the driver, but he did not move. A CLIENT tried to open it, the trip ORGANIZER attempted to open it before it dawned on the driver to check it out. And the door had locked. At our next stop, where we picked up the second driver, each patron kissed the ground, thankful to make it safe. The first driver was all over the road, I was awaken several times after crossing over in the emergency lane. As the driver was getting off the bus, he commented that he had only had 4 hours of sleep. And by the way he was driving, you could tell he was tired. This put our patrons and our lives at risk and this is VERY dangerous. Something tragic could have occurred. And just when it couldn't get any worse, we ran into heavy rain and it began raining on the bus! Water poured in from the windows and emergency exit! Seats were soaked, patrons had to move, AND ride with wet clothing for a bit as the down pour continued. Even more disappointing, we met with staff a week prior, to check out the busses and their amenities. We seen two buses, both top of the line. The company rep advised if we did not receive a newer bus, it will include similar amenities. We've reached out to JEFFERSON TOURS to discuss the above complaints, and we have not heard back. I am so embarrassed with the bus and service provided. We were not contacted at all during the trip, nothing has been done to rectify this issue. DO NOT USE JEFFERSON TOURS, find someone else. For the money paid, it's not worth an uncomfortable ride.

He greeted all of us with a big smile, helped many into and out of the bus, held packages, umbrellas and was very considerate. he dropped us off close to the conference center and, when we were ready to leave, drove close so we didn't have to walk out to the parking lot. Although it was a very long day for him, his smile never waivered. The bus was comfortable, clean, ran smoothly and temperature was right on. Thank you for sending James as our driver.
