From the very beginning, Eric was incredibly responsive and helpful. Even before our shoot, he shared great tips and answered all our questions, which made us feel confident and excited going into the day. On the day of our wedding, Eric showed up early and was extremely professional. His talent and vision were clear right away. My husband and I aren't the most experienced when it comes to posing, but Eric guided us through everything so naturally. One of the best parts? The turnaround time. He sent us a sneak peek of the photos just a few hours after the shoot -- and they already looked amazing! By the next day, he sent over all the unedited photos so we could choose our favorites. The final edits came back in just a week, and you could tell he put a lot of time and effort into each image. If you're looking for a talented, professional, and genuinely kind photographer, I highly recommend Eric. He captured our special day beautifully and made the whole process easy and enjoyable!

My wife and I got married this past December, and we couldn't be happier with our wedding…read morephotographer, Jennifer Michelson / A Girl and a Camera. I actually found Jennifer after searching online for photographers in San Francisco and her work immediately stood out. Her style felt fresh and unconventional -- more documentary and journalistic than traditional -- and I especially loved her use of black and white photography, which was a big reason we chose her. The day started at our hotel, where she jumped between our separate rooms to capture my wife and me getting ready. Before she had even gotten to our rooms, she had already scouted the perfect location for our first look. The moment was absolutely incredible, and she handled everything; we didn't have to do a thing but follow her lead. That professional confidence continued at City Hall. She has a masterful familiarity with the building. She took full control of the shoot, guiding us as she told us exactly where to stand, how to pose, and where to move next so we could just relax and enjoy the moment. As a photographer myself, I really appreciated her confidence and professionalism. All we had to do was follow instructions and be present. She knows San Francisco City Hall inside and out -- the lighting, the angles, the timing, and the key locations that truly matter -- every shot felt deliberate and it showed. The technical skill here is top-notch-- the compositions were beautiful, the balance of each frame was spot-on, and her gorgeous color grading. We received around 300 images, and the quality is so consistent that I plan to print every last one of them in large format to ensure we have a permanent physical archive. When we received the final package, we were so touched -- she sent our photos on a beautiful USB drive along with printed images, some sweets, and other thoughtful details. It was the perfect finishing touch to a genuinely wonderful experience. If you're getting married at City Hall -- or anywhere in San Francisco -- Jennifer Michelson / A Girl and a Camera is exceptional. Thank you Jennifer! Laura and Junior.

We can't recommend Jennifer highly enough!

She was flexible, kind, friendly, and just has the most wonderful personality. She was also great with our kids. She knew how to make them feel comfortable, let them be themselves, and somehow captured all of those sweet, genuine moments that we will treasure forever. San Francisco is such a special place for my husband and me. Coming back with our kids now that we've settled down in Southern California felt incredibly meaningful. We wanted them to experience the city we love and create some special memories of their own. There is just something so magical about San Francisco, especially the Golden Gate Bridge, and I'm so grateful we now have these beautiful photos to remember the city. And of course, Karl the Fog decided to join us and somehow made the photos even more magical! We make it a tradition to take family photos every year but we don't always find a photographer who is good. This time, I feel SO lucky that we found Jasmine. We are completely in love with our photos! Thank you, Jasmine, for not only taking beautiful pictures, but for giving us an experience that felt so natural and fun. Thank you for your patience with our kids, your flexibility, your kindness, and for capturing our family exactly as we are!

We narrowed it down based on aesthetic and style, then interviewed our top picks. Jasmine stood out from the very first call. Talking to her felt like catching up with someone we'd known for a long time: warm, easy going, zero pretense. We were sold almost immediately. On shoot day, she showed up ready. Small stature, big presence with her camera, belt clip, and a little step stool that ended up being the MVP of the session. She moved us through two hours like a well-organized heist. We hit every great photo spot before the other couples and photographers could get there, shot what felt like 500+ photos, and somehow ended up with clean frames in a building that's constantly crawling with people. The organization alone was worth it. Her directions were clear, her energy was calm and confident the whole time, and the final photos delivered on everything we hoped for. Best wedding photography decision we made. Easy 5 stars. She's the second-best decision you'll make that day, second only to actually marrying your best friend, of course!

He's very professional, friendly, quick to respond, and just amazing to work with overall. I had just started wedding planning when I ran into a friend who told me Augie was their photographer and shared his info. We had looked through a number of photographers, but Augie's work stood out to us through all of it--his photos truly captured the feeling of each moment, and we loved everything in his portfolio. When we reached out, he responded so quickly and answered all our questions right away. For our engagement shoot, it was my husband's first time doing a formal photoshoot. Augie came very prepared, offered great tips, and made us feel completely at ease. He was so easy to talk to and work with, and we genuinely had such a fun time with him! He was also flexible with timing and weather to make sure we could get the best lighting. We were blown away by his ability to notice something special in just a few seconds and turn it into a beautifully captured moment. For our wedding day, Augie was even more impressive. I had shared our (very full) itinerary with him ahead of time, and I was surprised to notice that he knew it by heart. When we started running behind, he gently but efficiently helped move things along. Even though it was his first time at our venue, he had an incredible eye for finding perfect spots, turning a simple fence into a magical backdrop. He worked seamlessly around the golfers at our venue, guiding us at the right times and capturing the sweetest in-between moments. He also accommodated all our specific requests, including photos with our sports car and dress details. We absolutely love our wedding photos and all the special moments he preserved. We were also so impressed with how fast he sent us our sneak peek photos--it was such a fun surprise to get highlights so quickly. Overall, I can't stress enough how grateful we are for Augie and everything he captured during our engagement shoot and wedding day. We're so happy with all the memories he helped capture that we will cherish forever, and I truly can't recommend him enough.
