Capital Cars are employing incompetent, lazy, one-digit IQ useless creatures who could not care less about quality and decent customer service. Avoid!! Or as an alternative - book them if you want to be let down. Used to be their regular customer but will never deal with that rubbish company again! Avoid!

This weekend my flight was delayed by six hours and, as I walked through security, the driver called to make sure that I was OK and to advise his location at the airport. Fares are four quid within the town and they generally (regatta excepting) can have a car with you in ten minutes.

The driver arrived a few minutes early and in a Mercedes C class, no less. That's not the usual treatment, I learned, but I have no complaints. He was polite and professional and a decently good driver. We got to the airport in record time and I made my flight with plenty of time to spare. Would I use Abbey Cars again? It's difficult to justify £40 when the Railair shuttle charges £17, but with the amount of luggage I had on that trip it was worth it. Especially since Railair only goes to Terminals 1, 3 and 5.
