Everyone there is quite informative and if you have a question the person serving you doesn't know, they make it a point to find out from someone else. I don't have a drug plan and was even offered a discount on the already low dispensing fee. I get my annual flu shot here and they are always kind and gentle. Prescription are filled quickly and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else, especially to the larger chain establishments. If you are in the Brampton area I would highly recommend this pharmacy.

The hand cream that she was using wasn't healing a thing. I found one brand that seemed promising while doing some research online. The site said that it was available at this particular Shoppers Drug Mart. The store was conveniently on my way home from work. Then again, I cut across most of the GTA, so I pass by a ton of stores! This store is in a plaza. There seemed to be a Food Basics or some green-painted grocery store that has closed down. Shoppers Drug Mart is in the corner further down. The parking area can be a bit chaotic. It's an older plaza and the lanes are more narrow than what I'm used to in suburbia. This store has been here for a while. It has everything that you'd expect it to have, including a grocery aisle. I walked every aisle and could not find the hand cream that I was looking for, which was disappointing. However, there was a Gold Bond one that was on sale. It has been approved by the Canadian Diabetes Society. It has proven results. It was also on sale. I bought it! I dropped the cream off at my parents' place. My mom said that she would try the hand cream out immediately. This morning, I spoke to my mom. She said that three hours later, she noticed a huge difference. She no longer has cracked hands. Nice! She asked me whether she could pay me back. Hearing her say that this product works is all that I wanted. The lone cashier at this store was friendly and made sure that each customer was okay. She helped out a senior ahead of me. Doesn't matter what it is, it is like a right of passage that on any shopping quest, I MUST first step through it's sacred sliding doors into the soft scents that can only be the cosmetics section (rereading that I think I may need some help......) In all honesty, I do think this is a great retail environment and not only because I seem to always need what shoppers has to offer. They really have it right on the retail environment. The layout is great, the visibility is amazing (it's always the brightest store) and the staff is friendly enough. It has everything and the mix of retail and pharmacy is great...what else are you going to do while waiting for the pharmacist to mix all the magical potions and call on the gods to create that coffee syrup (ok I'm not crazy but sometimes I do wonder why you have to wait for your prescription when the doctor wrote down the exact amount and the type...is it the handwriting they are figuring out...it's got to be so we have to shop around right???)? I do know that I've watched these kind people go from being very kind people to people that wouldn't trust you if you if you were starving. Why? Cause they've been lied to & I'm guessing they have become.accustomed to the money and may have forgotten those people that always have said positive things about the store. But being honest.. You've changed to be like every other stores. They're cold no compassion and trust nobody and it ruins it for us folks like are loyal customers and are very kind to the staff. Either they just filed a new prescription from my doctor instead of filling it. And when I went to pick it up and was told this, they didn't even fill it that day, I was told I had to wait in que and return the following day. And the girl was very rude. The male Pharmacist is very knowledgeable. The East Indian Pharmacist is not and isn't very friendly. When the printer was broken and couldn't print off my new med information, she told me that there was no side effects..... Google says otherwise. Needless to say, I returned to my old pharmacy.
