Their quality and workmanship has helped them become a symbol for Ireland and the Aran Islands. As a tourist I made a point to visit. I was excited to shop here although the prices were very high for many of the items that I loved. They do have beautiful scarfs for a decent price and very affordable sweaters but I kept finding myself back in front of the more expensive sweaters. They are incredibly soft, feel so comfortable and come in many pretty colors. I eventually decided to purchase one online. I was told that they were going to be offering holiday pricing and the savings will offset the shipping. This store also has many tourist type merchandise for sale and a discount room upstairs.

Their prices were fair and the selection was very good. I was looking for a shirt for my grandson. I picked out a couple of shirts but was worried about the fit because he is tall for his age. I told the young sales assistant my concerns and desire to find a toddler size 5 slim and long shirt. She led me to exactly what I was looking for. After many trips into different gift shops I finally had what I wanted. The shirt fit my grandson perfectly and I am extremely grateful for her help. We received this type of service throughout the store making all of our purchases special and our shopping experience exceptional.

I did find one wool sweater that I liked but I felt that it was overly priced and not quite the quality that I felt the price warranted. They offered some pretty nice scarves, sweaters and some shirts for men but again the price seemed to match other stores where you might have a better selection depending on what you are looking for and certainly a better presentation. The sales clerk did not engage and stayed disconnected during the entire shopping process. This quickened our decision to move through the store at a fast pace.

The last thing I want to do is bring home a souvenir from Europe that was made in China. This is a charming little shop that supports local artists. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it. I bought this sterling silver necklace that the artist touted as the only moving jewelry in the world. I don't know if this is true but the flower does move each time I move my head and it is just gorgeous! I have never seen anything like it. There are many other nice things to buy but I had to pick only one. Do not pass this place up. The lady that works here is also delightful.
