Instead I called the manufacturer of the refrigerator and although it was out of warranty, they had someone come out and look at it for free, and was quoted $540 to fix. I contacted Alpha in an attempt to negotiate some sort of refund, be it all or partial, explaining what actually fixed the problem, and the owner was not, in no short terms, going to entertain the notion of any refund of any amount to me. I paid $120.00 for the wrong diagnosis, bought 2 parts I did not need, and somehow in her mind, she feels it was not there fault. I would steer clear of this company for appliance repairs of any kind.

He said there is a $119.95 service fee plus $5 gas charge and I could get a credit for the gas charge. The service fee would go towards the repair. I said ok because I knew all I needed was the part. Simple repair. So Greg- the technician comes out. Puts a cup of water in the microwave and says "it's your sensor," which we already knew. He said it would be $464 to repair and recommended to replace the microwave. So they charged $133.70 to tell me this. I never got the $5 credit. It was all set up to come out and charge the fee when they knew what they were doing. Very dishonest company!! Do not use them! They will take advantage of you!

The technician was here for about 30 minutes which cost me over $150. I was then presented a quote for over $600 to repair my 2.5 year old GE dishwasher. This is more than a new one by the way. The technician said that the control board needs to be replaced and that was it. After doing some research I found a GE replacement part for around $150 and the person I spoke too sent me a link on how to install it. 4 screws and 2 plugs. He said that I shouldn't be more than 30 minutes to replace the part. This is a very high quote that boarders on a complete bend over if you ask me. Long story short I would give them "0" stars if I could. I don't recommend you having them fix your appliances
