We didn't go back a third time because the second instructor was very fast, teaching us more than we could handle in one class, and we were on the beginner side of the room. The first instructor was better--we learned the very basics and even practiced at home, and he was very nice. It's too bad the second instructor was so callous with us. If he hadn't overwhelmed us, or picked up on our discomfort and backed off a little, I am sure my boyfriend would have gone back with me a third time. I didn't want to go alone, especially since this was his Valentine's gift to me. In the end, it wasn't worth the money, and I wish I never suggested we do it.

I USED to love going to salsa, but now that its in a low-end stinky taco restaurant as opposed to a night club, or large/grand corridor of an art deco hotel (which is what I paid my membership for). Walking away smelling like tacos is not how I want to spend my eves and hard earned money. I attempted to get a refund for classes I already paid for since they expect me to spend my Friday nights with sticky floors and cramped spaces- they gave me the runaround and ultimately did nothing (not even responded after my 3 final emails- so unprofessional). New owner/ management have ruined the vibe and experience. You have been warned... enjoy stinky taco night with salsa class with money-hungry new managers who do not believe in satisfied customers. No respect for long-time customers or their money.... so sad.

I learned so much in every single class I took. In university at USF I took a semester of ballet and the teacher complimented my technique as being the best one in the class, all thanks to the wonderful education I received at academy of arts. Now in 2025 my 3 year old daughter is taking classes and is enjoying every class. My mother, daughter and I recently went to the Christmas show and we were so proud to experience the show. It was such a great show, still professional and beautiful. 13 years later and Academy of Arts is still producing wonderful dancers. I highly recommend this studio to all dancers and artists who are eager to learn and perfect their craft.

This is a full dance school that offers: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Pas De Deux, Lyrical, Tap, Hip-Hop, Flamenco, Modern Dance, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Drama, Piano, Guitar, Violin, and Voice. The faculty is certified and have led professional careers in their respective areas of creative expertise. They begin laying a foundation from the preschool years all the way to young adulthood. And they have both female and male students. They also offer an AfterSchool program and work your child's classes at a mutually suitable schedule. The cost of the classes is comparable to other dance academies. I have enjoyed closely watching the development in my niece, as well as in many of her close friends. I also look forward to their professionally-mounted recitals every year.

So professional! Suzanne also worked with my band and wedding planner to make sure everyone was on the same page. They were punctual and everything happened as promised by Suzanne. The actual show was magical ! We had 3 male drummers and 2 beautiful female dancers they were all truly amazing ! The entrance was spectacular not to mention the choreographed dances,. Our guests were thoroughly surprised and it was truly spectacular. The girls brought me and my husband out on the dance floor with them, taught us a few moves and formed a conga line with all our guests going throughout the entire reception space. Thank you Suzanne and Brazilian Beat for adding so much fun and entertainment to our special day!

Thank you all the dancers and musicians and Suzanne for a espectacular performance! By the way the performers looked in great shape and not old and chubby like a lot of them do! . Would post more pics but don't have the official ones yet!

A wonderful venue for any occasion, in my humble opinion. We were in a clear sided tent which was well illuminated and the air conditioning did not disappoint. The management has contacts for event management, music, food, decor, etc. I do not know if the family brought in their own music and catering or used the venue's, but both were very good. Highly recommend!

Joe is good to work with. But more importantly you need a great planner. Ours was Jessica G. Events. Was very disappointed in a few of their vendors, I'm posting here because they were recommended by the venue and don't have their own yelp page. Belkis floral- beautiful flowers but forgot the tall floral at the alter and the petals. Forgot we didn't want boutonnières. Very aloof when inquired after the wedding. Sagno catering: The apps were not like we had the tasting. The bruschetta was a tiny bit of tomato topping. Looked very sparse, the dates and walnuts were tiny, only saw the coconut shrimp once in the passed apps. The steak on the main course of the plated dinner was very small nothing like the tasting we had at secret gardens. Chicken Alfredo tortilini was not plated as we tasted. Everything was smaller portioned than our tasting. We did not go with Sagno for the cake since I did not like their cake. We ordered tiramisu, the tiramisu was not made with marscapone instead cream cheese, obviously cheaper and not the right taste. The Miami events- awesome all the way around! The violinist was amazing, the dance floor beautiful and great DJ. Drinks by us- great to work with but only around 8 bottles that were average brands. For a full open bar not sure it would be enough for a lager crowd. There are a lot of additional costs to the all inclusive price. I did feel a little nickeled and dimed about the early access for the brides room. 765.00 to get in the room 7:30 instead of 10. The room is empty and I thought that to be a pricey add on. Beware there is construction on the grounds and the bride and grooms rooms need some updating. All in all the wedding was amazing and like the backdrop of Secret Gardens.
