This could be a great opportunity to see if she'd be a good fit for us. Eventually, she responded, asking if I'd be available for a Wednesday morning sunrise session. I agreed without hesitation. The next day, she contacted me again, asking if we could do the session that evening instead. I said yes, but I needed to know the time. She replied with something vague like, "Ooo, I don't know... maybe 5 p.m.?" Her response felt wishy-washy, but I confirmed that 5 p.m. worked for me. By 3:00 p.m., I still hadn't heard back, so I followed up to check if we were still meeting at 5:00 p.m. and where the shoot would be. I began getting ready, as it took me a while to prepare myself and my family. Keep in mind that I'd also canceled my prior engagements and evening plans - it was a big commitment on our end. When 5:00 p.m. came and went without a word from her, I decided to give it another hour, hoping I'd hear from her while there was still daylight. But nothing. Regardless of being a model, I felt frustrated that she lacked the communication to tell me that she ended up choosing someone else for the session and gave the excuse that her "phone had died." After such a disappointing experience, I realized I wouldn't want to actually book with her, nor would I recommend her to anyone.
