He consistently went above and beyond--not only taking the time to explain everything in clear, understandable terms, but also showing how deeply he cared for my husband and our entire family. What stood out even more was his kindness outside the clinical setting. He happened to go to the same gym as my son, and every time they crossed paths, he would take the time to ask how my husband was doing and thoughtfully address any concerns we had. Absolutely terrible…read morethe only thing we receive with a huge bill is no help no references and a "bed" the hallway of the intake area of the ER we were charged for as a room in the hospital for six hours. As it is routine to the hospital, we were forced to pay for tests that were pointless and had nothing to do with the mental issue at hand and were forced to take them or they wouldn't treat us not to mention the doctors bedside manner that we received--resident was not just a pompous ass but a misogynistic condescending jackass. when I question why he would need a pregnancy test on a 12-year-old--and I said she's in Girl Scouts; she just turned 12, his retort was: I know a lot of girl Scouts --what the hell does that mean?? As bloody patients and the ill pass us in the hall over and over until nearly 3 am. If that doesn't scare a 12-year-old?!!! I talked her down myself---terrible experience.
